We started talking about this because I found out why Goodwood joined Twitter; so he could get in on the #GamerGate tag.

I read up on Gamergate really quick so I could have a better understanding for our comversation.  We're stymied by it.  We don't understand how and why the gaming community would take such a giant leap backwards into an open cesspool when female gamers and even developers were around for quite some time.

Plus I think they just sell you stuff you could easy just buy off Steam (or GOG) directly instead of going to GamersGate since some of the game's uses Steam's DRM. Some game pages on GamersGate, like the ΩTH's bastardized localization of sora (it still pisses me off an internet [dark hold] is allowed to localize a Japanese indie game and no one is doing anything about it), caused avast! to ring up with a virus warning.
