Depends on where you're going, honestly. Driving wise, with no traffic, it takes me about 25 minutes to get from my house to work. With traffic, it can take up to an hour. Via public transportation (bus & subway), it takes about an hour.

For a friend of mine, taking one subway train from her place to her job, it's about 1.5 hour commute one way.

Microsoft also did say Windows 8.1 at concerference users will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 as part of a FREEEEE update when it launches, and Windows 10 lookin' much sexier than Windows 8 and they've from mistakes from Windows 8 (good ol' desktop is back, customizable Start Menu, better mult-tasking functaionality, etc.).

Apparently Windows 9 has been re-dubbed Windows 10 as of late, maybe to avoid confusion with Windows 95 and 98(?).

Apparently they're not using Windows 9 because of old legacy code that checks which OS it is and it looks for "Windows 9*" to see if it's 95 or 98.

But if they just called it Windows 9 the OS would get confused.

Anyway my dad has been buying things lately, and for some reason he gave me Christmas lights. $1.50 Christmas lights and a plastic jar. I mean the change rolls he got are very useful, shame he couldn't find some for dimes, but I really don't get why he would think I would want a small box of Christmas lights, I mean at least I can maybe use the plastic jar to store things.

Maybe I can save them in the event I live alone and get a tiny Christmas tree since I wouldn't want to go through the hassle of getting a big one? Well at least he's helping the economy.
