Ah, okay.

My equestrian knowledge and experience is very, very, very limited. I've been around horses and attended a riding camp once, but that was it. Though, I did help bathe a Belgian horse, and even ride it bareback!

The horse I was assigned at the camp was a former rodeo horse named Jake.

Yes. Give the least-experienced rider the rodeo horse.

Yeah I've never been horse back riding, even though my college is famous for our horses. We wouldn't have the land for our college if not for those horses, they're that damn important.

I rode a few times and it was fun but I don't like the smell so I couldn't do it regularly.

On the last daytime ride at the horse camp, Jake lost his shoe in some mud (it sucked it right off his hoof), and he was given a slipper. He was milking the attention and walking really slow and lagging far behind. I leaned down and told him that we should catch up with the rest of the group, and he broke into a trot.

Then, he walked along just fine, until the lead rider pointed out his missing shoe and Jake started lagging again.

Actually I just remembered that I did ride a pony in a swap meet, but it was chained to a pole so it only walked in a circle. There was pellet poop everywhere.

Gettysburg has draft horses for the carriage rides, and we have mounted police. I've seen the carriage horses lifting their tails and dropping a load in the middle of the street. They've done it during parades, too.

You know, since I'm allergic to metal and can't have metal implants or anything with metal ingredients, and can't wear metal... and Fairy are weak to Steel...

Yeah, nickel is a common allergy. Lots of people have that one. I got the full-blown allergy to all friggin' metal. Nickel, copper, steel, iron, titanium, gold, silver... Some metal I'm more sensitive to than others, such as silver, steel, and nickel. I can wear gold if it's pure gold, but most isn't and other metals in it cause an allergic reaction.

Titanium ate through my skin. At least I think it was titanium, but it may have been steel. Steel eats through my skin, too.

My silverware is metal, though most came in a set with plastic handles. The metal has to rest against my skin for an extended period of time. I can't wear earrings or chains, and my glasses either have to have lots of plastic on the earpieces, or be made of entirely plastic.

My first pair had bendy earpieces without plastic, and the earpieces ate through the skin on and around my ears. The scars from that pair of glasses finally faded enough that I can only really find them by feeling for them.

Yeah my glasses are plastic since the silicon thingies that rest on the nose are very uncomfortable to me. My mom is the same way.
