Yeeeeeep! Gets there, kick Recoome's ass with NO effort, starts showing that the other two's shots are going right through him cause he's moving so fast, and BOOM!! Back to the beginning. All that padding & filler, it finally starts getting interesting, and back to the beginning.

The concept of time is lost in normal DBZ.

6 Days = about 20 episodes where 1 year can also be about 20 episodes.
20 minutes? pretty much another two episodes.

Hell, Goku's curbstomp of Racoome was an episode all to itself.

Again, DB just did things so much better, the pacing wasn't shot to hell, but that's to be expected since at that point they weren't running cocurrently with the Manga.

I always liked the classic DB for it's fantasy elements more than the overly long battles in Z. Plus the supporting cast got to be useful more than once or twice.
