I've tried one of the earlier demos and it's not too bad even though uses a Quake sourceport to get it running. I'm not sure if they're going with a different engine from the recent stuff they've put out. Some of the ideas they're going for with the game kinda reminds of the console versions of Powerslave since that is also an Egyptian-theme FPS with a bit of Metroidvania elements in it I didn't get too far into that one.

Yes, but it's been renovated and the interior has been completely redone. It's buffered by the mountain, so wind goes over the ridge and the house itself usually doesn't get smacked with it.

I know the day they first started it was a few days ago so maybe it happened then?

Either way they have 1 badge a lv 43 Charizard and somehow have a Poliwag, along with an Onix, Kaukna, Magikarp and Krabby. My brother suspects they hacked the game to get rid of trees or something because there is no way they could have a Poliwag at that point.

Then, catch all 151 Pokemon.
Then, after the above 2 are cleared... The Player MUST check their bed.
Then, beat the E4 again.

I knew never he does readings like this. And if I find it funny that last night I mentioned Powerslave, and now I found the guy behind Doom 64 EX and Strife: Veteran Edition has been working on reviving Powerslave in the past month. I hope it's based on the PSX/Saturn version.
