Hmm looking over my tentative Christmas wishlist and editing it I realize that I can get at least one more gift that's less than $35.

The only video games I have on the list are Monster Hunter and Ghost Trick. Perhaps I should get another game. Of course this could change and I might switch things around yet again depending if I feel I can postpone one gift that I can put off getting.

EDIT: It looks like at the moment it will be between Kid Icarus Uprising and Majora's Mask 3D. I'm probably going to lean towards Kid Icarus in the end since it has adjustable difficulty.

As a Jojo fan I can certainly handle his fabulousness.

You know even though I don't really give 2 shits about graphics as long as the game is fun I kind of wish that Capcom would give Ghost Trick could give the game an HD remake to make the models more pretty since admittedly the jagginess of 3Dish DS games make it look really dated. Not that it really matters anyway.

Twinmold is certainly the worst of the bunch, but they managed to ruin the other ones too. The only one that survived for the most part was the Majora fights, as long as you don't Fierce Deity it up.

Oh, don't worry about the graphics.

YouTube makes all handheld games look like [parasitic bomb], due to the blown up resolution, but Ghost Trick looks rather impressive on the actual DS screen.

I have the standard Blue 3DS. I haven't changed since the very first launch, though my brother purchased the Zelda 3DS XL.

If it's not too much trouble you mind asking your brother to borrow the XL for a sec and tell me if the screen size affects the graphics/resolution in any way? I mean it's no big deal since I'll buy the game no matter what, but I would like to know.

Also I meant to say I have the Standard New 3DS.

I have an XL and games upscale very well on the 3DS screen.

If you prefer, though, if you hold Y (i think) while booting a DS game it renders it in the original DS resolution so the screen size stays the same.

It's Start actually, but yeah even with the Standard New 3DS the size just looks awkward when you resize it compared to the original 3DS. Like I said it really doesn't matter too much, as long as it's not as awkward as the Pokemon Gen 5 games. I don't know what it is but the Pokemon Gen 5 games just look weird on the 3DS.

I just tried it on the XL and the visuals still look good, albeit nearly identical to that video I posted.

The colors are crisper on the smaller 3DS, and the aliasing is slightly less noticeable.

Ghost Trick can get cinematic at times, so you may end up prefering it on the big XL screen.

It's very dead.

I wish the owner would delete it already. Only activity the past 2 years was recurring virus problems. At least I got a free PS3 for my admin help way back.

To this day, I also think that site's built-in chat is what lead to a slow death from the very start.
