I did and they're both meh but they're the only games with decent sale that I would want. (Steam trading cards none withstanding) I'll probably decided before the Indiegala sale ends. Gotta get something for my birthday

Finally watched Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F

The story is TERRIBLE.

That being said, the fight scenes are incredible. In fact, it might just be the best out of all the DBZ movies.

CGI is briefly used during the end fights, which as a lover of all things hand drawn (Ghibli!

), was very annoying.

Even something simple like Jaco flipping over a hoard of enemies was CG, which makes no [tornado fang]ing sense. It's a movie. You have the money to hand draw everything, just like the series.

Thankfully, the CG doesn't get too overbearing, and the action is still a sight to behold.

But the story, no. Just NO.

But yeah, fantastic episode. I'm hearing it's possibly on hiatus till next year sometime. You know, between that & Gravity Falls, networks really really need to get their [parasitic bomb] together when it comes to releasing stuff. Especially with the Netflix model of releasing things just being....well perfect.

SPEAKING of Netflix, I don't think I mentioned it before, but during NYCC on Saturday, I got to watch the first episode of Jessica Jones. It seriously blew my mind as to how good it was. The quality of the episode was just amazing. And man, if Tennant wanted to convince me that he's not just the 10th Doctor, boy did he [tornado fang]ing succeed.

Honestly, best part was the fact Vegeta caught up and didn't cheat or tout on about it. Also I'm really confused as to why Roshi showed up to fight but apparently Yamcha wouldn't be able to handle it.

I loved when Vegeta got all tsundere when he was holding Goku's hand.

And yeah, I was audibly laughing at the fact that they invited an old man, but not an actual Z Fighter. Yamcha is pretty useless, but come on, he can still fight.

I do hope to see more of Jaco. The movie seems to expect the audience to know about his adventures with Bulma, which was really odd. No backstory or anything, he just came right out of the blue.

Basically in the short manga Jaco is from, it was a revealed to be a Dragon Ball prequel at the very end when a young Bulma fixes his ship.

No she's just completely unmentioned and forgotten by the rest of her family since she was added so late into the series run. Some retroactive incompetence on their part. Though I could see Bulma just simply never mentioning her to be in-character.

I don't buy that excuse, since the Briefs are famous themselves. Capsule Corp is making them a fortune.

If anything, Dr. Briefs and Bulma herself would be even more busy, since it's a massively lucrative business.

Yeah here's the excuse according to TV Tropes.

Tights being Bulma's previously unmentioned older sister is handwaved by her being extremely independent, and thus unlikely to be around capsule corp and by her parents being extremely absentminded and unlikely to remember she exists.

Also even though she did write about her adventures with Jaco the book was a flop.

EDIT: But she is still a fameous and successful Sci-Fi author. The book on her adventures with Jaco being a flop was a jab about the fact that the manga itself seems to have been a flop in the real world.

Ugh Kiryl died again so I reset since I didn't want him to lose out on more experience. As silly as it is to have a Inn in a Dungeon I think I'll use it next time I get there even if I know the Dungeon has no boss.
