Returning to the statues, the Professor takes the torches one by one, placing each torch into the indent that corresponds with the statue placement of those torches.

Meanwhile, Riagan had settled with the group and lit his pipe.

Sakura looked at the pipe Riagan pulled out having never seen such a thing before and was curious what it was while Calien wondered if the Prof could figure out the secret of the room.

"Don't you think we should go over there and help the Professor?" Pema asked.

"It looks like he has everything under control. Besides, I think he's enjoying himself." Salem said with a light chuckle.

"You can enjoy puzzles?!" She gasped.

"Hey, everyone has a hobby." He replied.

"I like them too...but I haven't done many." Sakura admitted.

"Hmm, how strange..." Pema rubbed her chin.

Salem sighed. "Pema, you can barely stand still, so is it really a mystery why you dislike puzzles?"

"It's not my fault adventure flows through my veins!" She crossed her arms and shouted proudly.

"That, and at least 5 different kinds of sauces from the last time you ate." He exclaimed.

"I can still taste it...!" She clenched her fists, reminiscing her last meal.

Aya approaches the Prof "You think these torches will activate the main door?" Aya seems to have been watching his investigating

"What, what I think, what I think will happen is, is p-perhaps the torches will activate the altar, which we could then use to finally activate the doors. Sometimes, sometimes, numerous steps are required to do one simple thing." the Professor placed the torches in the indentations and waited for a result.

Nothing seems to happen but given they fit it must be right just perhaps missing a step.

"Hmm-I think that open door is the key, what ever lies beyond perhaps can light this torch--then maybe it'll help us with the other rooms." Aya theorizes.

"It's quite possible..." Getting up, the Professor proceeded through the open door and shone his torch around to illuminate the area.

"Adventures often involve solving puzzles, it's a very important skill." Calien stated "Same can be said for fighting and out manuvering your opponent."

(( Imagine a square room with an high stair case from the center leading to the back wall on a high altar. Up there is main door we are trying to get open.

However on the left and right sides of the room are two doors each. One on the right is open but the rest are closed. The torches seem to be part of the puzzle of opening each door finally leading to the main one. Basically we need to enter that one open door.

Only other way to go is back the way we came and that doesn't lead anywhere new.

It's kinda like the forest temple where you needed to light the torches in the main room to go forward. ))
