Pema tugged on her own sleeve and quietly stared down. Holding her hand would certainly help to keep her calm, and perhaps that was what she needed right now. Or perhaps that was simply what she wanted.
She glanced at Sakura, nervously pinching her sleeve and shrinking in her clothes. Pema began to open her mouth, but stopped herself. She couldn't do it. She can't be the same scared little girl that failed to stop the bandits, all those years ago. She's better than that now, and it was time to prove it.
Pema smiled and looked ahead. "Thank you, Ms. Sakura... But, I don't need to. I'm sorry for bringing it up; I have to be brave. For everyone, but mostly for myself."
