Yeah immortal as immune to the effects of time. Aya wasn't born she was created, like all the guardians were. Aya can be killed, in fact Mar very much wants to see her gone since as long as she lives the gods can use her to interact with the physical world and Mar isn't strong enough yet to fight a god infused guardian.

Problem is not all the gods are that interested in the physical world anymore, perhaps not happy with how mortals mucked things up. Or perhaps something else is keeping them busy right now? Who knows!

If that's the case, then Daemons should be okay around Chaos Rifts, as, for the most part, the only way they can die is if they're killed. Time only makes them bigger and stronger at a rate that is often overshadowed by their own pursuits of power or ignored by hibernation and/or lack of combat.

God that sounds worse than the Legendary Pokemon. I mean we've confirmed the Birds are apparently still flying around Pandora and Suicune is in the Emerald Forest, or at least hangs there often.
