Daemons are something from a series I've been working on off-and-on for a while. They are semi spiritual creatures that come in a multitude of shapes, sizes, and powers. They habitually make contracts with the humanoid races of my series to become their familiars. Some people have the ability to wield their familiars as weapons, which the daemons naturally can turn into.

Well, they have a great range of appearances, from a small red puppy to a massive, bone-covered, poison-spewing dragon.

Well the Elementals or Gods of Arcadia are spiritual beings obviously too so that fits in the world already. Sounds fine to me.

Though, in the world they originate from, they have 10 elements rather than just 6. In addition to Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Light, and Darkness, there's also Lightning, Wood, Metal, and Venom.

We mostly kind of established that Lighting either counts as Fire and Wind combined or just an extention of the Wind Element.

Yeah, the rules of the world kinda have to be kept to.

Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light , Dark (Omni-Energy is a mix of all of them and Chaos is the source of all creation)

I recommend reading the first page of Mana-verse to read up on the lore.

Well Wood can count as Earth, possibly Metal too if Avatar the Last Airbender has taught us anything. Not to mention I did use a Sleep Spell at one point.

I'm going to add considerable emphasis on "considering." I'm considering it. I'm not making it official, but the consideration has crossed my mind. However, I haven't figured out what I want or how to make it work, so the idea will probably be thrown out because I have another plan already.

I did read it. I'm just trying to figure out how to fiddle with, combine, and change them to make my extra 4 elements and the plethora of combinations that involve them work.

Combing the six core elements to make other types is fine.

Poison is the one that's going to be really hard to explain, I mean we already have explanations for the others but Poison is really going to be hard.

Okay so 3 for Earth, I guess that works since Calien is really the only one that uses Earth Attacks though Sakura can very rarely use them.

Well, that one elemental boss in Final Fantasy 4 is Earth-aligned, but only has Poison attacks.
