The reason that Giovanni lost was because he when over his head with getting revenge and was so overconfident about it too even though, and let's be honest here, he and his entire organization did so many douchie things with documentation that there was no chance in the Reverse World that he would have legally gotten Mewtwo back into his possession.

Hell the reason that Mewtwo got into legal trouble was because half his family were brainwashed and he almost went too far when it was over and done with.

(OK... Since Twoey is 6 yrs old, it meant that Twoey's birth was set way before the plot of XY, and even way before the first RP. 3 years past since Mewtwo's trial... There's still 3 years... I was with Team Rocket... Unless I already had involvement with Flare before joining Rocket.

That, or the kidnapping took place after the trial, and Twoey was age-accelerated to the appropriate number of human years prior to his capture by Trak.)

(Twoey was three years old when he was captured, which was roughly when the trial was. He had spent three years in the lab before he was dumped, then spent three years with Trak. Though, that isn't really to say that Twoey was out and about during those first three years. He could've been kept in a stasis tank at some point, and the Zoroark might be remembering wrong, particularly since it remembered the part about Twoey's enhancements, which would've been during his third year.)

Dr. Wily II was already mad, joined Team Flare as a consultant, and overlooked their Mewtwo Project. Got a better offer with Team Rocket, and jumped ship. One Alakazam lobotomy later, forgets about Flare's Mewtwo, and forced into Rocket's Mewtwo Project.

... Still not connecting. Unless I pull a stunt, and said Malamar completely screwed the timeline of events, to confuse anyone that manages to break into Zoroark's memories.

(Yeah but continuity wise Xerosic should have been jailed before the first RP started and Wily was good way before Team Flare was around.)

(Maybe Twoey's memories are wrong, too. A lobotomy would certainly contribute to that. So, Malamar failsafe on the Zoroark, and Twoey has brain damage.)

(Yeah I think that maybe Runaway just mixed up Twoey's memories and the Zoroark's way too much and wasn't able to sort it out. Because it wouldn't make sense for Wily to have met with Xerosic or the Malamar unless the Malamar was Xerosic's which is impossible since Xerosic's Malamar is with Emma.)

(And plus, the events in Kalos were still before the last RP's events. Cause, you know, Taylor was part of them and she was already wandering the world after all that stuff happened, and had been for years.)

(So, Runaway's got everything screwed up due to how his brain works, Twoey's own memories are screwed up due to brain damage, and the Zoroark's memories were simply a mess.)

(Yeah pretty much. I figured that in order to implant a suggestion about Xerosic that Wily had to have met Xerosic which as said before was impossible and the Malamar was caught way after the trial which means that implanting such a suggestion about a person that all 3 of them have never met was impossible. The only one who has met Xerosic was Twoey which makes sense why Xerosic showed up there.)

(Another thing that still bothers me, why did Wily have to kidnap Runaway? Couldn't he have just captured another Abra and evolve it into Alakazam?)

(I guess, though I don't think Wily would have such a problem with that with how he is, I thought the burning sensation only happened when he tried to cut the Alakazam's skull.

Though if it was that it makes sense since Trak is a Champion and thus famous, even though she's not nearly as active as Sakura is with the crap she's done.

Another thing is that there are just as powerful Psychic types, like his Metagross, not counting Mega Evolution because both Trak and Wily don't have the Mega Stone or Keystone and he probably couldn't force a Mega Evolution because story wise a bond is necessary to Mega Evolve, but he most likely just has a preference of using Alakazams in experiments.)

(Well, they do have one thing going for them: Continually-growing brain. Alakazam stem cell research would be beneficial.)
