Because Arche is completely covered in flames, all the crap that came flying from the monster didn't stick to him, and disintegrated almost instantly.

Dr. Doom II groaned at seeing the pizza monster explode, and a large game over appeared on the screen of the handheld. As a timer counted down for continuing, Dr. Doom II pondered... And selected Yes.

Back at the scene, the thoroughly toasted pizza monster roared into life... Becoming a... MUFFIN MONSTER!!

"... [parasitic bomb]." Iron Sapph said, facepalming. "Explosives." At that, several plates on his armor slid apart, revealing a LOT of tiny missiles. "At least this one is solid and not goo."

The muffin monster roared as pieces of itself were blown off its body. Those pieces that managed to land inside civilian mouths were commented to be very buttery and sugary...

The barrage of missiles rained down on the monster. "Anyone else have any bombs? I've got a limited amount of these and I don't think it'll be demolished before I run out."

From a Pizza Monster to a Muffin Monster. At this point, even Hierophant was getting fed up with the sudden revival of a seemingly pointless monster.

He heads back to the bridge at the head of the dragon ship and sits down on the captain's throne, looking towards Atsushi and Ittetsu still manning the controls.

"Try and move closer towards the monster," he said, "Keep the cloak up until we're close enough for me to cast Stop on the monster."

The two merely nod as they input coordinates to bring the ship closer to the monster. As this was going on, Hierophant pressed some buttons on the throne, causing the floor it stood on to lower while the dragon's mouth drops open to bring him outside.

With the Muffin Monster seemingly distracted with the other heros, Hierophant summons his scepter and points it towards its slowly disintegrating form.

"STOP!"

The blue orb flashes as a distorted clock appears around the monster and spins its hands before vanishing, causing every fiber of its being to grind to a halt. How long this would last is hard to determine.

Bat-Sakura once again took out her Sakura Sword and sliced the monster into little bite size pieces.

Py-Loki appeared again as the Muffin Monster fell to pieces and melted into goo, as he was devoured by the Pizza Monster it spawned from. He was covered from head to paw in sticky goop but did not seem to mind. If anything, he appeared extremely excited.

"Oh, do you know the muffin man, the muffin man, the muffin man..."

Bat-Sakura put away her sword and walked over to Py-Loki.

"Are you okay Mr. Py-Loki?" Bat-Sakura asked gently "I'm sorry you couldn't eat your pizza as intended."

"Man, after all of these food monsters, I could really use some OJ right now," Arche muttered while redirecting a school bus that was getting too close to the fallen muffin man. Who knows what else might pop up from there.

Iron Sapph sighed. "Please let that be done." He said, the plates that had been covering missiles sliding back into place. At the same time, the speaker he had been using to talk to Bat-Sakura from a distance floated away.

Seeing that the walking mess had been taken care of, Hierophant immediately presses another button on the commander's throne, causing the dragon's mouth to close and lift it back onto the slightly elevated platform in the center of the bridge.

Dr. Doom II stared at the game over screen again, this time, there was no countdown. Sighing, he kept the handheld, and went to call for some Chinese.
