I was getting a bit disheartened when I saw three MM2 weapons in a row, but then they showed stuff from 3,6,7 and 8 and I felt good. No 4 or 5 stuff though but maybe that'll change, no 9 or 10 stuff but I hope that doesn't change.

Given how Brawl turned out, Smash Bros 4 probably won't turn out as technical as Melee. But dammit, I'm still happy nonetheless.

I love the look of Smash Bros 4. Brawl and its shoddy realistic look really pissed me off. Stylistically, the light-hearted, brighter looking Melee was soo much more representative of Nintendo.

Okay, so now that we've all found out that our beloved Mega Man is in the Bitchslap (still calling it that cause why not), it's time to have fun and go into full on hard-core soft porn speculation mode!

So let's jam.

• We still haven't seen Rock's Final Smash. What do you think it will be and what are you hoping it is?
• Assist Trophies. What do you think it will be and what are you hoping it is?
• Stage Music. What songs are you hoping make it into the game?
• Items. Do you think they'll be any specific MM items in the game and if so what are you hoping for?

Final Smash: Hyper Megaman from MvC1/2? Kinda doubting it since those games were half Marvel, but it wouldn't be too out-of-place since Hyper's currently fighting-game-only.

So /v/ was talking about his weapon getting ability, when someone said this:

Guys. Guys... What if that's his final smash? He gets the ball, starts glowing, and after he gets a kill does a special super move that relates to the character that he just ko'd.

EG: Kills Link, obtains Tri-Force of Courage Part, turns gold/green, obtains Master Buster Blade which allows him to fly around doing an infinite spin slash around the map that has ridiculous range.

I'm not too sold on the idea, but hey, it's possible.

Two good possibilities are Astro Crush and Double Rock Buster, but both would be very similar to Ness and Samus respectively.

Black Hole Bomb? Suck enemies in and deal damage to them?

Rush Adapter? Turn into 7's Rush form and fly around with homing fists for a while?

Trophies: Blues no doubt. Or Bass, running with the idea that Shadow got a trophy in Brawl. Bass could be a rapid fire annoyance trophy. Protoman could be Big Bang Strike maybe. or play it like MM3 and JUMP N' SHOOT Possibly roll doing her TvC thing with giant buckets and/or brooms

Or we could get Robot master trophies, like Flash man or something, to slow down time, Gravity Man could [tornado fang] with gravity, making everything super floaty, or super heavy, etc. maybe a swarm of Mets. Tango bouncing around? Beat doing his thing and attacking enemies?

Items: Proto Shield, Nintendo Pls. E-Tank? Met helmet? Yashichi?

Music: dunno, maybe Electrical Commuinication/MM8 US theme? The RS theme? Something from MM1 has to be there, Cutman or Elecman possibly.

• I'm hoping the Final Smash will turn Mega Man into his Rush Adapter form from MM7 and it'll giving him wings the ability to fly and gets to use the Hyper Rush Buster for high damage, but maybe the homing function will be nerfed so he's not OP. My other idea is that Mega Man summons Rush and he'll randomly use either Rush Jet, Drill Rush or Rush Bike, and if there's an underwater level, Rush Marine to provide assistance that way.
• I'm hoping Proto Man who will fight for you by using his Proto Buster or his shield as a battering ram; Roll who will probably fight in ways similar to Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom; Eddie will drop random loot in the arena (be it recovery items, weapons, and everybody's favorite, Bob-ombs ).
• I'm going for Fire Man's, Quick Man's, Top Man's, Freeze Man's, and Galaxy Man's themes for starters, the boss music and Wily's Castle 1/2 music from MM2 to name some songs at the top of my head.
• Obviously Energy Pellets (and the rare Yashichi) for recovery, Beat can be used to add to your smash attacks, and Metools would be the MM equivalent to Mr. Saturn.

I figured as much when I saw the CAPCOM credit at the end of the trailers for Smash 4.

- I agree with Gonzo that his Final Smash will be Hyper Mega Man.
- The trend from Brawl was one Assist for each 3rd party, and I don't see that changing. My money is on Zero. But as a twist, make it MMZ Zero doing buster shots and sword combos.
- Only item I can think of is Beat. Pick him up and he'll save you from a downwards KO.
- As for music:

* Classic will definitely be the most represented. I'll say Cut Man, Metal Man, Shadow Man, Bass' theme, Tornado Man, and Nitro Man.
* X vs Zero has gotta be there.
* Cannon Ball is a no brainer.
* From ZX I'll pick Area A-1.
* The Legends leitmotif will definitely be there. It's a fighting game tradition by now.
* Put something from EXE and Starforce too.

-Since we've already seen Rush, I'm going with Super Adapter for his Final Smash. It's the one I want the most, personally!
-Assist Trophy wise, they'll stick with classic or it'll be X. But my money's on classic, so either it'll be Roll with her broom chasing people around all adorable, Blues with his sexy Proto Strike, or Forte with his buster. Obviously I hope it's Blues. Well I'd prefer Blues were a character, but that's slim to none. One day Blues.... one day...
-I don't think they'll add Items in. If they did, a E-Tank would be hilarious!

Regarding music, they're going to stick with the classic series, guaranteed. We already heard in the trailer two version of Wily Castle 1 from MM2, which is a given. There's so much to choose from that I have no idea what they'll pick (cept for the two I just mentioned) so here's what I want...
-CutMan from MM1
-Some form of Medley from MM2
-The opening to MM3 OR Wily Castle 2 (You know, as much as I'd love love LOVE Blues' theme, it'd be boring to Bitchslap to)
-Either Cossack Citadel 2 or Wily Castle 2 from MM4
-DarkMan's Castle from MM5
-FlameMan from MM6
-SlashMan or Wily Castle 1 from MM7 (very underrated Castle theme)
-FrostMan from MM8
-GalaxyMan or Final Wily Battle from MM9
-Against The Pressure (Wily Castle 2) from MM10

I think they'll put in a Boss Battle Medley.

Oh, and since I doubt they'll get rid of Trophies, wouldn't it be awesome if every Robot Master was a trophy!  

Also...
