I ordered a plate of barbacoa with refried beans and Mexican rice and the combined salt content is not jiving with me.

I don't think I've ever heard of Barbacoa before.

I usually don't mind tasting food with a lot of salt, but my sister is very sensitive to salt. I do have my limits though; when it comes to a point where there's nothing but a salty aftertaste on my tongue after eating a dish, that's too much for me.

I can't eat Popcorn with too much salt.

Lately they've been putting not enough butter on my popcorn at the movies and its always really dry and salty.

Really annoying.

Barbacoa is basically shredded beef.

And it was pretty much that salty after taste that got me.

I wish I had Chipotle instead of what I had. Their Barbacoa doesn't make me feel like I'm dehydrated.

I love shredded beef.

But yeah, salty aftertaste is a no-no for me. Too much salt intake also makes me nauseous.

The damn car alarm has been blaring off and on for the better part of the past hour. If it goes off again, I'll need to solve the problem with violence. And if violence doesn't work, it's because I'm not using enough of it.
