You most definitely did not put anyone in their place. First off, you can follow the simple rule of introducing yourself in the introduction form before you even posted in the fan game section. And I'm sorry that the first post you received a response was inflammatory a negative I really am. However that does not justify the way you responded and the way you're continuing to act. I understand your feelings were hurt but if you were the high minded adult you claim to be, you would have dropped this and moved on instead of dwelling on it like a child. Besides those facts it was only 1 post that was as bad as you declare almost every post in that thread to have been. in fact as I recall, everyone apologize for the way they acted yet you're still on your high horse like you're a victim when you were just as guilty as the other party. And just so you know, no one is jealous of your game because its not complete and it doesn't look that great and it doesn't look that bad either. It looks interesting and could be a great game. I just copied what was there because he seems like the kinda guy who would just deny it, then claim it was sent as an e-mail so no one can prove him wrong lol.
I mean seriously, only one person actually attacked him and it wasn't even at him specifically!
He was just the unfortunate soul who was vented upon.
Until he lashed out like a tool.
Then he went from unfortunate soul to douche in my eyes.
It's perfectly fine to stand up for yourself, your work and your right to do things.
However there ARE ways to do it without alienating people who wanted to help!
And now I shall speak no more of this as I have said my piece and can move on with life.

And no, either no one decided to comment or he hasn't/ won't approve them.

Nah, when you send a comment it needs to be approved by the one who runs the specific blog so he can pick and choose the responses that are public.

Some spiders are just generally ill-mannered, and can overtax a server by their numbers and their actions. Spiders follow every single link that they can find, and when a large number of spiders all attempt to register, that can impact a forum's operation. Already, we've installed a mod to prevent bots from registering, and that's helped a lot. Though, later tonight, I'll look into a mod that could possibly limit the number of spiders visiting.

What's happening is the spiders from that guy's blog are following the link to here, and that's why we have a large number of them. The activity should die down eventually, though.

They're just following their programming. Spiders click and follow every link that they can find. When you post a link to another site on your blog, any spiders accessing your blog will follow that link.
