I learned to swim the country way-- toss the kid into the deep end of the swimming hole. You learn to swim, or else.

Well I'm out since I took swimming classes at school, mainly to get over my fear of drowning, but I've never been to a pool or beach since...

It doesn't help matters that my medication makes me sensitive to the sun, so I'll be slathering on lots of sunblock. And reapplying it every time I get out of the pool, unlike last time, when I forgot to do so.

I'll most likely still burn.

Perhaps I should bring a shirt and wear it over top...

I couldn't stand the smoke from burning trees when I was helping my father at the other house and don't have Asthma either.
