So...on Tuesday my Abeula fell down and bruised her arm something fierce but didn't let my mom know until today. It turns out she fractured some bones and has to go back to the hospital on Monday. I think she'll be okay but I wish she let us know sooner.

I get the feeling that my Abuela is going to require surgery for her fractured shoulder. This really sucks.

I don't know, my Abuelo has dementia so he probably wouldn't be able to. What really sucks is that she also has rheumatoid arthritis too.

There's a possibility she may go to a care home for a while if her current situation is deemed unsuitable. Otherwise, she may get a visiting nurse. If she has any relatives nearby, that could keep her out of a care home.

When Mammaw broke her shoulder, I ended up being her caregiver, along with a visiting nurse who dropped by once a week. It was not an easy job.

One of my uncles lives around, he literally owns the acre of where they live if I remember correctly because he was smart when he came to California and bought it cheap. At least I think that's what happened, point is that he's kinda loaded.
