I mean it though, some new info about the new Sailor Moon anime was leaked so I went there to kind of see what the general reaction was...

half the thread I was in was pretty much a bunch of lolicons sputtering on about Chibiusa (Who's not even going to be in the new anime, it's the first story arc again, but i guess they were talking about the old anime too so whatever). I raise the natural and what I thought widely accepted opinion of "she's awful" and some creepo goes on to say "she's a very attractive loli", followed by what seems like a flood (or maybe it was like 3 people) being creepy. Oh right, and the creepy guy basically told me not to enjoy the show because apparently I don't deserve to because I don't have a desire to [tornado fang] chibiusa apparently.

I don't recall this ever being so prevalent as it seems to be recently.

This next part is completely unrelated... I've gotten the random (and potentially very stupid) idea to do a stream/let's play combo of a pokemon rom hack or fan game. I have got some things set up and will do a test stream in the near future to see if I can actually figure out how to do it right ~~(and to see if I have the courage and attention span to vocally talk to an audience of text while I'm playing)~~, which leaves me with the very unimportant question of which hack or fangame to play (under the assumption that all things work out).

Maybe, but I really can't think of a better general term to refer to people I don't know the exact nationality of. And I certainly wouldn't do what my dad does and refer to every Spanish speaking person as Mexicans.

One time, at Papa John's, we hired a Spanish speaking woman to talk to Spanish speaking customers. And a couple came in and were speaking Italian to each other. And she proceeded to try to talk to them in Spanish.

Well Italian is kind of similar to Spanish, quite a few words are pretty much the same in Spanish and Italian. A friend of mine who took French said that Italian also looked similar to French to him but I wouldn't know since I can't really make heads or tails of French anyway.

But yeah that doesn't suprise me since Italian and Spanish is sort of similar in a way.
