Skullgirls' final boss has shown me that the game doesn't want me to play it. I'm not good at fighting games at all so I put it on the easiest difficulty and I've only gotten past the bullshit second form once, and that was only for literally a second before I died.
Mario Tennis GBC on 3DS has shown to me that Nintendo doesn't want people to ever experience the joys of Transfer Pak to do the cool things you could do on the N64 ever again because like the Oracle games they've Dummied out the options that revolve around link-up and N64 Transfer, so you can't even so much as access the menus for them.
One of these days somebody will put out a save generation tool that'll let you get this stuff but that's probably a ways off because the save format is strange for VC games. Not as easy as somebody creating a password generator for the Oracles that let you get the GBA rings.
