Seriously?  Eight Ultra Balls and one Timer Ball on a Skarmory?  Legendaries were easier to capture!

I had similar problems catching a Skarmory in White 2.  Although the catch rate is higher than a Legendary, except Xerneas and Yevental since they are required to be capture for the story, it's 20 numbers lower than Ditto.

Zygarde was caught with half health in five Ultra Balls.  Then Kangaskhan took ten assorted Balls, several of them Dusk Balls.  Ditto usually went down with a couple Balls, and I use Repeat Balls.  But, I've had more regular Pokemon eat up more Balls than I've used on non-story Legendaries.

Yeah I had an easier time catching the Muskedeers than Skarmory in White 2 as well, Skarmory is just a tanky dick.

[tornado fang] these arbitrary things that happen, the Job Experience thing and Summer School were clearly just Atlus yanking time that could've been used for Social links away just because they felt they needed to make the schedule as tightly knit as possible. So glad Persona 4 did away with all that bullshit.

She would probably be eating the chia off the kitten to begin with.  Cats eat houseplants, and eating an herb, if non-toxic to cats, would be a better thing to eat over the holiday season than your poinsettia.
