It's good that the coffee shop remembers my name, though their toasters still suck.  I have to ask them to toast my bagel 3 times before it's actually toasted.

Nah it's the school's toaster, my toaster is fine and I only paid $8 for the thing and it still works better than the coffee shop close to the business building. 

The other places in school, such as other coffee shops and Subway, have good toasters but this one does not.  As I said I have to ask them to toast my bagel 3 times for it to actually be toasted and not warm without any browning.  That's why I've been upset about it since last quarter and this one.

Nah it's always been like that, even before the crash.  Thinking also involves a lot of bitching, especially when your own brain is attacking you for something.  This is not new at all.

I never thought I'd say this about a quiz, but the quiz that I just got from the last class was pretty unfair. The subject we were learning was making good presentations with the first topic being Voice Quality was good, ie good pronunciation, making sure you don't talk to fast or loud, make sure you breath and breath properly, enunciate and emphasize things well. The second topic was making sure you have good Presence in making a speech making sure you have the right amount of enthusiasm and confidence, eye contact, body language, and appearance. The last topic and was about basically how to prepare for your speech, making sure you know your audience, presentation aids and other things like what to do for certain situations like emceeing and introducing a speaker.

So what question out of all that could have possibly been asked about this topic today: What was the second topic out of the 4 topics I told you to study. The reason I have a problem with this was because that really doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand, the answer of her question was actually the first thing we studied in the book before the quiz, and there is no way this is going to be asked in the final exam.

I guess it's not too bad since quizzes are 5 points each, but I saw a lot of people with 0's since that was the only question on that quiz.

Maybe it's just me, and I simply miss out on actual conversations in this topic, but... yeah. I dunno.

The thing is that Daily Lives and Bitching do open up a lot of variety from person to person, plus we do have psychological and philosophical discussions at times but it's not something you can have all the time.   Plus this thread is pretty much a chat room in thread form.

I don't want no drug addiction in my Star Wars, unless it's subtle, like... "a certain medication gives you increased strength/force but it slowly kills you and drives you mad". That kinda thing.

Dang if these calculations for base stats are actually accurate when Pokemon X and Y come out, then Florges at it's lowest will basically be a Special Tank comparable to Skarmory's Physical Defense but with more power to dish out damage and the ability to heal it's self.

I agree with your say in the topic about adult movies being childish and children's movies being mature.  I mean look at Wall-E and Up.
