Topic: Pokemon Generation VI: X/Y & Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

I'm thinking Alpha Sapphire.  Not sure which starter, though.  The starter decision is always the toughest decision, unless you've decided months in advance.

I'm gonna start with Cyndaquil.

Specifically the one Pyro traded me that's sitting on my copy of X because I haven't raised a Johto starter in some time.

I think tonight Mewtwo will face the Elite Four all by himself, with Ringman's namesake Bisharp in tow.  The amount of EXP gained will benefit the other Pokemon.

Well I'll be getting Sapphire, but I don't know if I want to choose a different Starter than Torchic this time.  I mean this game easily has some of the toughest and most frustrating Gyms, Norman especially and Combusken is usually the guy I count on to defeat his Slaking(s). 

At the same time since I have Torchics galore in Y I was wondering if I should try something else, like I did in Soul Silver when I chose Totodile instead of Cyndaquil.  Ugh decisions man, decisions.

I've yet to actually use my Torchic, so I may go with Torchic, but I'm not sure.  I'll need to decide.  No doubt I'll be using a lot of odd crutch Pokemon, though.  I mean, my Farfetch'd went through all eight Gyms and straight through the Elite Four.

You should use a Spinda or Zigzagoon.  A Zigzagoon named Ziggy.

As for RSE being probably the easiest games, the fact that my Sceptile was only lvl 56 or so shows that off pretty well.

I actually feel those are the hardest, also with the mechanics change in terms of Attacks from gen 4 Leaf Blade would be less potent than it was in Gen 3 so you should rock Energy Ball or something.

At level 50 as a Treecko and via TM, yes.

I need to recall my Emerald team... And then adapt for the new gen with more Gardevoir.

And Mewtwo took on the Elite Four all by himself.  He had difficulty with Scizor and Aegislash, and Druddigon dragged out Runaway, who finished it off, but all in all, it was a good run.  Showed the other lower-levels how it's done, and now Mewtwo is in the Hall of Fame, and Runaway is in it again.

And I just now noticed the concept art in the credits.  Nifty!

He got really demanding when I was trying to work (making me screw up the Lost and Found), so I appeased him and got Mysterious Eggs.
