Turned the game on today to get my birthday greeting from Nurse Joy. daw.

I'm also going through the Battle Chateau cause apparently I did diddly squat in it before. Well I waited so long, I'm crushing everything with my lvl100 team. My new Togekiss has been putting in most of the work actually. I love him, he hits like a [tornado fang]ing bazooka.

Also getting some extra money. My final quest is to buy everything in the boutiques. Which shouldn't be hard. I sold 997 Balm Mushrooms not too long ago. That's over 6 million dollars.

The Battle Chateau is great for getting free money. I tend to have my team at least mid-level when I take them through, though Mewtwo and Runaway do the work while the rest warm the bench. Those furisode girls with the Audino are great sacs of EXP.

The birthday greeting at the Center is so cute.

Too bad the pose choices for your Pokemon in the PR videos are so limited (one animation or none). I just spent far too much time making a video for Runaway. If I had more pose options, it'd be less dorky. Instead, he comes off as some overly-enthusiastic spoon salesman in what amounts to being a video personals ad.

Yes. You need to add funds to your eShop account, and you can add at least $10, which is what I did to pay for it.

In the US, Club Nintendo is running a promotion where if you register a 3DSXL or a 2DS and one of six certain games in March, you get a free download of X or Y. I would think there would be catch here that the games and system have to be actually bought in the month of March, but there's no fine print anywhere that says that. So if you haven't registered this stuff yet, like me, go get free Pokeyman and get the Mega Stones you couldn't get.

I'm already trying to plan out my route for the other game. Namely, I want to use a completely different team from the one in my Y version (Blaziken, Blastoise, Ampharos, Aegislash, Krookodile, Togekiss). I'm thinking so far I want Greninja, Charizard, Lucario, Gardevoir, and Golurk. Not sure who the last slot would be yet. Either an Electric type or an Ice type.
