Waited it out until it was 8 real time.  Still no Mega Stone.  It's that area with the big pool of light, right?  The one where you can leave by going up steps and jumping over a ledge?  i'm standing right in that damn pool, walked around, pressed A, nothing.

Yes it should be there, better check tomorrow starting at 8 and bring Escape Ropes.  Also since the Female Shellder had Shell Armor I only have a 20% chance of getting Skill Link.  This will take a while.

I have ten Escape Ropes that were hidden behind my Repels.  Starting tomorrow near 7 my time, 8 game time, I'll head back in and find Runaway his Mega Stone.

And speaking of Runaway, he mouth-breathes.  The camera panned and I could see his mouth hanging open.

Okay, but all it says is it gives you other bags to train with, to increase EV's. It doesn't mention anything about level increase. So the Effort Values are saying that its there for effort as the name suggests, but not really there in terms of real stats, the stats you actually have during in game battle?

It helps your real stats, it affects which ones increase faster.

Damn... wanted to try out that Mega Stone searching trick now that I've upgraded it but now I'm unable to play Pokemon Y version because of the damn STC SD Card.

I can only play the X version for now.

My X version is just me transfering over my Torchics, Kalos Starter Pokemon, and the Kanto Starter Pokemon with the Mega Stones. Basically my current run is the first Gym and soon on my way for the Kanto Pokemon.

I need to do this two more times (for Charmander and the X Mega Stone and Squirtle with his Mega Stone) and then I can start the X version for real this time.

Y version for my 3DS XL (currently unplayable at the moment due to 3DS not detecting the STC SD Card)
X version for my old 3DS

Once I officially get my X version set up I'll send a FC for it for you guys to register it. Hopefully it has the Fairy Type you guys need for FC Safari.

Okay can someone explain to me what PR video is, and what O-Power is? One of the ppl on my friends list has a blue O around them. This has something to do with O-Power?

Also, how do you send gifts to other ppl? I see other ppl are giving me presents in the Amie. Do they just randomly appear when you pass by, or something? Or do you present the gifts?

The stones start sparkling at 8PM 3DS time (So changing the time to 20:00, I believe). If you are in the area itself, you just go back to the room with the TM and then go back to the Room with the pool of Light. Should be there.

If not: did you do the prerequisites of searching for mega stones?
1. Beat Champion
2. Go to Kiloude and do 1 battle of Battle Maison (Doesn't matter what type of battle)
3. Then exit Battle Maison and go north. Fight your rival. Receive Absolite from rival as reward.
4. He/She will tell you the Professor is waiting for you at Anistar City in front of the Sundial Stone (The big, pinkish/red gem in the northwest of the city).
5. Talk to the Professor and get ring updated. Whether or not the ring will work on that same 3DS "day", I am not sure, but it should detect Mega stones at 8PM from now on.

National Dex is still left, and Game Freak will update/patch the game to add more locations for the remaining Pokemons.

Or trade from your DS Pokemon Black & White games through Pokemon Bank or other means.
