Just my thoughts:
Okay.... So now that the game has been out for a week or two, or few, can you say that from the other previous titles in the series that this is the best Pokemon game to date? I've collected some of the older games even from the DS games, but I never had the chance to play them. I was afraid that If I played them then when I got them, that a new Pokemon game would come out soon after. And I was correct.
Besides just new region, new pokemon, and new graphics design, I couldn't find any other differences from the new Pokemon games starting from the GBA, to the current DS versions of the games before the new 3DS versions of X & Y came out. But from what I can tell from the 3DS version having new features and new game mode via Poke Amie, seems like a lot of people enjoy this one a lot more.
Also, with the Poke Bank coming soon, seems like it's going to be easier to transfer your Pokemon around. So I could like, train pokemon on my digital eShop copy, then transport them to the cartridge version of the game if I wanted to? BTW any word or release date on this? Though seems a bit farfetched to have to pay a monthly fee for it. We already have to pay for internet service, and paying games via downloading from the eshop service.
With that in mind, I was thinking about getting back into the game. I can't remember ever finishing a Pokemon RPG game past Pokemon Yellow. Though I've played some of the GBA titles only for a little bit just to try some of the features of their time, and during my visit to the Nintendo World Store. But that's it, besides the console games like Pokemon Stadium. But I don't think they count, since all the games actually begin on a handheld game system.
