Going by previous trends...

Gen 1 was Rock, Gen 2 was Flying, Gen 3 was Rock, Gen 4 was Rock, Gen 5A was Grass/Fire/Water, Gen 5B was Normal...
I bet it's Rock again.

Yeah latly no starter had a distinct disadvantage since most of the fire type starters gets the fighting sub type on the second evolution or in the case of 5A a elemental monkey.

I'm not sure whether to be surprised or not that no one is talking about the next movie. I know there is little to no info about it except teaser trailer and a promotional poster, but I would have figured there would have been at least some speculation. $:\$
Not that anyone probably cares any more, since it seems like no one is really following the anime/movie series any more, except for the kids.

I mean, is this supposed to be about another Mewtwo involved? Or is this the same one from the Kanto region? And why the title "Reawakening of Mewtwo"? Does that mean it apparently 'died' somewhere? I can't recall it ever happening. So many questions, since it's my favorite character.

I generally just forget the anime exists until it reaches the league or something particularly stupid happens like Ash losing a gym match three times in a row or [spoiler]losing to a trainer who just got his first Pokemon literally 5 seconds prior.[/spoiler]

I'm pretty much the same way, the anime is simply terrible.

Though rewatching the first movie in Japanese wasn't too bad actually. No shitty pop music.

So how many leagues has Ash lost? All of them?
What a shitty Pokemon master. Too bad he's stuck being around since everybody could use a breath of fresh air.

The Orange League doesn't really count as a league despite the name, it was more of a glorified gym battle that gave out a trophy instead of a badge.
