Interesting enough, smaller pokemon can either do side eye view, or from the top or bottom eye view when you enter Poke Amie. But some pokemon too big for the screen, like Xerneas, or Mewtwo do from the top or bottom only.

Still kinda creepy though.

Heheheh, I have finally seen my shiny ho-oh in amie, plus the shiny Gardevoir I hatched in White version and the red gyarados from soul silver both gone mega. I feel fulfilled.

It went by way of the dodo. Don't worry about it, we'll eventually get a script to add it or something. It's not a very high priority right now.
