Tried to get Gandalf to give me a high-five.  He just watched the cursor.  So, I pet him and he dissolved into cuddles and ear-wiggles.  I also noticed that he's a mouth-breather, like Runaway.  Is the whole Abra line made of mouth-breathers?  I should play with Cagliostro (my female Kadabra) and see.

I'll let some others idle and see what they do.  I'll also let them idle while talking and see what they do.  Like I said, Flamin' Yawn did a little dance while I was talking with people.

Got all my starters now and I seem to have gotten really lucky with the turnout from my Friend Safaris.

Gonna hit the hay since I don't have anything of value to trade right now.

Makoto gets me. Too bad she's literally the girl of my dreams. [/baww] Also happy birthday to her.

Caught a Goomy in a luxery ball. After that pretty much haven't done much of anything else. Done all the cases, got a Mewtwo. Still don't have Zygarde. Haven't done the legendary bird yet. And I haven't noticed any difference after accepting the mega ring upgrade. Don't think there is anything in the safari other than adding on to the collection of caught pokemon.

And I don't know if I'll have any use for the oval charm.... Though I'm confused how to obtain it. Are you actually supposed to capture all the pokemon in the Kalos Region? Or can you just only see them in game, and then get the charm?

That's it Irucan! Keep it up!

Flamin' Yawn is the only one not at lvl 100 of the original team, prior to Mewtwo joining (who took Ariados's spot after she leveled during the Elite Four).  He's at 99, whereas Mewtwo is hovering around 97.

Gandalf evolved, so I have two Synchronize Kadabras.

Well, I plan to have Runaway spend time with Cagliostro.  I'm not really concerned with getting more Synchronize Abras as I am just breeding Runaway's stats.

I tried running around some areas in the game between 8 and 9 PM, though just villages and some small caves. I didn't notice any obvious differences with the mega ring upgrade. Are some areas supposed to light up, or make noise if you get close to another mega evolution rock? I couldn't find anything obvious on the map either.

In certain areas--such as the Chamber of Emptiness, or behind the Abomasnow in the Frost Cavern--will have a little sparkly thing where there's a Mega Stone.  If you try to walk over this tile, it will block you, much like an item will.

Also, if you're not noticing anything during 8-9pm real time (20-21:00 hrs in-game time), your game's clock may not be set right, like mine.  8-9pm in-game is 7-8am real time for me.

Ah okay..... It's going to be hard to locate sparkle areas then if they're as tiny as the looker tickets. Though the only major difference I saw was the statue thing spinning in the center of Anistar town, with the huge crystal lighting up during this time period. So I think the clock in my 3DS is set right.

The only real troublesome one is the one found in Santalure Forest. The sparkles are hidden in the grass. However if you approach it, you can see the tip of sparkles. The others are in plain sight in their respective locations.

... Ok, so the one behind Abomasnow isn't in plain sight, still.

Out of curiosity, how useful, or useless is Shedinja? It only has 1 HP, and cant be hit by normal attacks. Though it can be hit by its weakness and critical hits, and weather conditions. To me, that sounds pretty useless. Though I've seen some videos where it couldn't be hit, and some where it was equipped with some items where it won't faint even when attacked by its weaknesses. So is this bug/ghost type pokemon pretty much immortal if used correctly? Or is it just a 'troll character' by Game Freak? I could see some benefits of its use, but then there's always the problem always having 1 hp even when trained at lvl 100.

Competitvely? You can forget about using it. Sure, you can give it a Focus Sash so that it can survive one super-effective hit. But the Sash disappears after one use. Good luck.

In-game has more uses, since you know what moves the Pokemon inside have. Take for example, Mewtwo. It has Barrier, Recover, Aura Sphere and Psychic at lvl70. Can it hit Shedinja? No.[tornado fang]ing.Way.

Since Shedinja can learn False Swipe, it's the perfect lead for catching Pokemon. If the target can't touch it.
