I got Timid for Pyre Sage. Quite happy with that!  8D

Also, Braixen might be my favorite 2nd form of a starter ever.

I see... well I can use my Female Fennekin to breed for another one. Does the Egg's gender on the Pokemon lock when you receive the egg or when it hatches?

I think when you receive it, that's what I observed in Soul Silver.

Dunno if you guys knew already but I was using Flechling to hit the punching bag without anything and from time to time Fletchling "finds" other bags.

Yeah, all Pokemon can find other bags randomly while doing Core Training.

3DS is up charging.  Then, it's back to training.  I have Flamin' Yawn at level 15 before the first gym.  Perhaps I should scale back the training? XD

I say it's okay since Viola is at 10 and 12 plus she has a Surskit that can use Water Sport which lowers the power of Fire type attacks for a few turns.

The rest of the team is 10 and 7, so I've been grinding them up.

Yep.  Dumped Lo-Watt Bulb in my team once I got the chance.  I also have a Dunsparce named TrouserSnake, despite her being female.

Huh I didn't think you could find a Dunsparce so early.  If you have a Bunnelby you can trade it for a lv 10 Farfetch'd in town if you want.

Already did that.  Dig Dug Bugs found a new home, and Quacklin' has been tearing up the competition on my team.

Yeah all your team members should be ready for the gym by now at those levels.  Then you you need to figure out what to catch next since you have to deal with Rock types, but also Ice and even Dragon types in the next gym.

Pretty much I've been deciding on what to catch by the following:

"Hey, I don't have this one, yet!"

That's a good mentality.  At least the next route can also prepare you for the 3rd gym since it's a fighting type gym and that route has Faries and I think a Ralts.

TrouserSnake has a nice moveset when I caught her, and she's been holding her own pretty well.  Rain Mouse, my Azurill, needs some more practice, though.

Just got my Charmander.  I named him St. Elmo.

St. Elmo's Fire.

I'm such a dork.

This.

Though, I was referencing the movie when I named my Charmander.

I caught a Ralts and I named her Mandark, due to her bowl cut.  I had some problem figuring out a good name for Flabebe, but settled on Flower Power.  Later, I may duck out of Lumiose (or however the flark it's spelled) and go back and find some more Pokemon.

Lysandre is so FABULOUS~ 8D

Finally did my first Wonder Trade with my LV4 Male Pikachu I just caught and wanted to give a newcomer him since Pikachu is a tad uncommon to get even if he's in the beginning and I got a LV7 Flabebe from a guy in Osaka, Japan who apparently got it from someone who played the game in Spanish as I got the Spanish Dex entry for it as well.

My Fairy-Type Pokemon, pretty cool! Though is Flabebe available in both versions or is this Pokemon exclusively to X or Y? Playing the Y version right now.
