Why would you even EV train for ingame

The game is dirt easy enough as it is

I'm wondering how easy it will be to find the EV-reducing berries, though.  Not having full knowledge of every 'man's moves and abilities makes EV training this early kind of a shot in the dark...
You can receive reset training bags, if you haven't already gotten one

I'm messing around with it right now. I'm already loving all the effort that they've put into it. I especially love how the trainer kneels when talking to someone like a young child or short Pokemon. I find it cute. I'll be level grinding while I make lunch.

Have internet access at the hotel I'm staying at, pretty cool! Glad to hear you guys got X and Y already and another Mega confirmed. Sad I haven't played it at the NYCC but the line was kinda long (not going outside of the building or anything) but I'm picking up my copies of the game on Monday or possible late Sunday (if we get back home before 9pm) so I can wait until then.

NYCC is really something! Saw a lot of people with very interesting and well-made costumes and some so-so costumes... haven't spotted Protoman Blues yet (though not sure if he's in costume or not or what he's wearing). I haven't seen EVERYTHING yet but my brother and I got the Dragon Ball set, complete with all 7 Dragon Balls (and we made a wish! We got some Pokemon... Chimchar for me and Piplup for him. ^_^ Nah we just got some Poke Balls with a random Pokemon (with keychain) nearby which I don't know where he went to grab).

Haven't really got anything Pokemon-related yet except for the Poke Ball and I got "Are you Afraid of the Dark?" the old Nick show back in the 90's on DVD the complete series. I hope I can go to Nintendo World and grab a Pokemon Plushie there and check out some of the other Nintendo stuff there as well... and this time I'm bringing my 3DS! Got a good number of Street Passes now.

Well that was it for today, and I enjoyed that head set at the Intel floor/block where you put on these goggles and you're basically inside the video game world (from a racing car) and you look around to see all of the environment. I was awesome reminds me of the .hack hear gear for the players to use to visualize see the game through their eyes.

Tomorrow is my last day (only visiting Comic-Con for two days only) so I hope I can see more of Comic-Con find more Pokemon stuff. I wonder if I'll find someone selling a Keyblade in there.

Anyway "smell ya guys later"! bVd

Okay, so I know Sakura suggested starting with Soul Silver/Heart Gold first, but... X/Y looks tempting.

Got my Gamestop copy.

Heh, turns out it cancelled on their end but it didn't cancel online.

How funny, but they had plenty of copies so I got one and the pre-order map.

Now to take the Newegg copy back to Gamestop for a refund. It'll be no different unless they put a newegg sticker on it or something.

Anyway, when do I get to play Trainer Dress-Up?

That's like literally half the reason I've been wanting to play this.

Well really any version is good because they all have tutorials, except for Diamond, Pearl and Platinum since they put the tutorial to catch Pokemon after you might have capture 2 or even 3 Pokemon.  If you need like an RPG tutorial Fire Red and Leaf Green is like the most ridiculous tutorial ever but I would probably give that to my mom since she couldn't figure out how to play the first Final Fantasy game since she didn't know what to do.

But yeah each game has a tutorial but if you want to get familiar with the Pokemon, since this game has a lot of old ones, I recommend Heart Gold and Soul Silver or Black and White 2 if you don't care about story.  Otherwise you can probably get into X and Y easily.

Saw both X and Y at the NYCC but since I already pre-order both versions for myself there's no point of playing them as they won't be my file and save. It's irritating a bit but I can wait until Monday to play it.

And that's quite the cute-looking Trainer there Ruri! Suits you perfectly.

Why would I want more than one? Just one Fennekin for me, though I could see if they have others like a Mewtwo... might want to dangle it in front of Quickman and swing it back and forth saying "catch me if you can"! [eyebrow]

I have a Mewtwo plushie.

And I won't be able to get my game until tomorrow afternoon.  I can pick up my 3DS from home, then, but I'm not sure how much I'll get to play it.

I have a Mewtwo plushie.

I've got a few plushies of him. All of them are funny looking, except one. ^_^

Though I wonder if they're making new versions of the original form to promote the new movie. ;)

That's it Irucan! Keep it up!
I just love being with you!
