Aren't all Pokemon getting a Mega Evolution anyways?

Not all of them, it's been confirmed that none of the Kalos region Pokemon are going to get one, not even the starters.

Fine by me. At least it breathes new life into previous gen Pokemons.

First thing I see about a Mega Typhlosion, I'm spending my college money on a 3DS that day.

>implying I said there was

I still haven't played any of the Gen 5 games due to an utter refusal to emulate them since I'll miss out on multiplayer. Can't pick them up either since my brother's DS finally kicked the bucket a year or so ago.

Well I guess Soul Silver or Heart Gold would be a good start, you'll have at least some familiarity with it.

Alright, and I take it Pokemon games are extremely time-consuming, right?

Time-consuming, yes.  Fun, yes.  Lots of resource management, yes.

If you're into RPGs with a ton of resource management, Pokemon is for you.

Now, if you like Rogue-like dungeon crawlers with a ton of resource management, get Mystery Dungeon.  I'm planning to.

Ehh, not crazy about dungeon crawlers, personally.

Hi guys. Thought I should say some stuff while I'm here.

I heard something of a rumor of Typhlosion being reclassified as Fire/Fairy somewhere. I have no idea as to whether or not it's true. Can someone confirm or deny this?

Also, I presume that Sylveon is the only new Eevee evolution for this generation, yes?
Rockman! May you and all those who stand with you throughout the ages fight for everlasting peace!

Viva la Infaking, baby!

During my competitive days with early Gen IV (D/P), I spent about over a hundred hours capturing, breeding, and training Pokemon, taking them to the Battle Tower (the battles were hardcore if I remember correctly), contests, and all that jazz. Still had some fun with it.

I don't play competitively, so my training is a bit more relaxed.  My play tends to be more exploration, with Elite Four grinding to level up my team.

That's why you'd really like HeartGold. In addition to Elite Four grinding, you can refight all the old 16 gym leaders on specific days at specific times. It's awesome!

Not really competitive, but I ALWAYS EV train my team's speed whenever I grind for levels.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

And when you factor in fighting Red as well, it's an orgy of training!

Of course you have to beat the E4 and Champion again if you wanna rebattle Red after his first encounter... Equals more grinding. :P

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

If Typhlosion's gonna be part Fairy type I don't think I'll be able to hold my fangasms in.
