Cool... But I can't imagine it as the cover art on Pokemon Z.

As for Goodra...

Oh yeah that makes sense, specially since the Pokemon fighting it is called Goodra.  Have to admit that's a cool looking Legendary.
As for Goodra...

This is what Goodra looks like here (Sliggo evolves at level 70):

It's not that high really.
Hydreigon was lvl64... While Volcarona was lvl59.

Of course you can catch the wild Volcarona... But still.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Considering the fact that the champion has level 70 Pokemon as well as how the EXP Share now works, I imagine getting up that high wouldn't be too difficult.

Good point.

Also it seems like the only high stat it has is Special Defense.  Not sure how I feel about that.

That's the Legendary "Z" Pokemon? It's an interesting one I'll admit, but that's the third one?

No it's the 'Z' legendary.

Also it would seem that Mewtwo is obtainable in some way in the games. I expected that though, no point using him as an early advertising point if you couldn't even get him in the actual game.

Good to know.  I would expect as such since he's hyped so much.  In the event that that Mewtwo was transferred over, there's room on my team for a pre-owned adoptee. :3

I always start Fire. Fennekin is a definite. But I love Charmander as well. Plus, with the Torchic, that's three fire starters.

I also love Squirtle, and I've never really raised one due to...well love of fire.

He's conflicted because he always chooses Fire.  I was going to say the other combination you can have until I remembered that Poison is weak against Psychic types.

Self-trade, and get all 7.
... Then choose 6. 8D

I'm sticking with Fennekin because I simply want to see a Fire/Psychic type in action.  I've never seen that combination in-game before, and it seems like it would be fun to use.

Yeah there's that and if you want to use the Blaziken.   So many conflicts with Blaziken.

I rarely trade anything over from the previous game, since I like using the ones I get in the current gen first.

I may not even keep Torchic on my team, as I like to experiment.  So, I'll most likely end up with this weird, ineffective team.

I mean, I'm still contemplating getting both games just so I can raise two different teams at a time.

Yeah and I've never used a Houndoom or Blastoise before, man Chesnaught and Blastoise is going to make my team Bulky as heck.
