You know, the "Y" Mega evolutions seem to be stats-wise more souped up versions of the normal 'mans (same Type and increase to Special Attack for Mewtwo and Charizard, both are primarilly special attacking types), while the X evolutions are more curve-bally (new Types and increase to physical Attack). I already pre-ordered X on account of Mewtwo looking more badass, but I get the feeling that raising a Pokemon expected to go "Mega X" the same as one would raise the normal 'man (EV-wise) isn't going to work as well.

Holy...! That was the most EPIC Pokemon battle of all! Nothing in the anime starring Ash was that monumental before! Heck the Mewtwo from Pokemon: Origins seems WAY more kickbutt than the Movie Mewtwo in terms of fighting! Though Movie Mewtwo still had great character development, Origins Mewtwo seems like a very aggressive wild Pokemon with lack of talking (though it's possible it could talk, haven't see Origins yet).

But seriously... we NEED a Pokemon anime series like this! Pokemon: Origins is the best Pokemon show ever! Even if it was a short special movie.

Red is awesome as well! Does even more cool things than Ash... I wish, since Ash is the main character for the entire series (reminds me that Sora is for Kingdom Hearts no matter what (well main numbered games)) though could stand to keep all the things Ash learned in this previous journeys and make him mature as well... but not for a fresh start they "reset" Ash's battle skills and Pokemon levels. It's kinda insulting.

Anyway I CANNOT wait until Pokemon: Origins airs in the US! ^_^

Anyway I'm getting both versions, X for Female Protagonist and Y (my main) for Male Protagonist.

And a question for you Quickman... which Mewtwo do you think is the most badass? Origins Mewtwo (from the Pokemon: Origins special TV movie) or Movie Mewtwo (from the original Pokemon anime with Ash as the main character)?

Classic Mewtwo and Origins Mewtwo are pretty even tier to me, but Origins Mewtwo is certainly more crazed.

As for me, I have my sights on X. I may buy it before I get a 3DS.
