Which, in terms of chromosomes, is a bit backwards. :P

The biggest issue I had with the Y form was the head-tail.  It just... didn't... make... sense.

Though, this has made me wonder...

Does Classic Mewtwo get the X form?  Will we see it in all its badass awesomeness?

glad i was already getting X, considering Mega Mewtwo X.

also glad that the rumor that fairy was weak to poison held up. this gives me even more reason to believe that Litleo (Fire/Normal) will evolve into some sort of manticore (Fire/Poison).

Unless they are still keeping it a secret, looks like we're not getting a movie with the X form.  Since they were so hard at work on the movie with the Y form. Though this would have been interesting to see a movie of the X form in action.

TBH, I didn't like the can opener head thingy either. And the fingers and feet were just... Ugly. XP

Well... New series, new special episode?  Who says that it needs to be a movie?  Just do a super-long episode and I'd be happy.

The bottle-opener hanger headphone band, while it was a bit odd, it didn't bother me quite as much.  I could've lived with it, as long as the damn tail stayed where it was--on the butt.  The feet and hands were... weird.

Well, I know that if I pick up the game, I'm getting X.

Yea... The head-tail doesn't make sense to me either..... I don't know why they wanted to try to reverse it. It only makes sense if the original design has it first. But flipping a tail from it's origin point in another direction is just..... seems wrong. :(

Now.... if only I can find that joke article about the origin of this.

Not to disappoint anyone, but I think our classic Mewtwo is probably still lost or in hiding somewhere from society. While the new forms even X form is a new Mewtwo as well...... Though originally he was one of a kind back in Gen 1 was still a "thing". Now that there are more pokemon, it's possible he got cloned again somewhere. As long as they has dna samples, I'm sure "someone" was able to re-create another one somewhere. Which could explain there being more than 1 form mewtwo. Otherwise, we could go with "Alternate Universe" theory where X is universe 1, and Y is universe 2, where each universe has only 1 mewtwo, with one form.

Yes please!

Also, been waiting for an reaction.

TBH, The X form looks more male-like, and the Y looks more female-like, in a way.
I don't really see them as being male/female so much as I see them being buff/child.

Yeah, I'm going with Mewtwo X as well.  His tail and thighs could stand to be beefier, but otherwise, he looks cool.

Mega Garchomp bothers me.  I'm gonna be royally ticked if I don't see a Mega Dragonite somewhere, is all I can say.

Mega Charizard...dammit, I actually did want to try that new fire starter, but now I'm torn.

I'm still royally ticked that Fairy is freaking IMMUNE to Dragon.  Dragon really should be super-effective against something other than itself before such an idea was ever considered.  None too fond of the resistance to Bug either since that's already something of a niche offensive type as it is.

And, honestly, for any claim of "game balance" to hold water, any new type should be not very effective against Ice.  That is the worst defensive type ever...  I am, however, glad to see that they are trying to give Steel some offensive reason to exist.  Even in spite of the Ghost/Dark loss.

They needed a new formula a long time ago.  I honestly think Legends 3 would have accomplished that.  They kept on remaking the same thing, with lower budgets, and now they're acting all confused because they stopped making a profit.

I hadn't considered that since I rarely use Dark.  Thematically, I like seeing Fairy come out on top of that one, but game-balance-wise I agree there's an issue.  Dark is a virtual clone of Ghost offensively and is far less valuable than Ghost defensively, ESPECIALLY with how much the Fighting type was buffed in the last gen.

They needed a new formula a long time ago.  I honestly think Legends 3 would have accomplished that.  They kept on remaking the same thing, with lower budgets, and now they're acting all confused because they stopped making a profit.

With Fairy strong against Dark (its moves are super-effective against Dark and it only takes half-damage from it), this puts Xerneas in a superior position type-wise over Yveltal.

No, I was talking about Steel being effective against Fairy.  It makes Steel strong against something that Fighting isn't, for a change.

You know what I may do today?

I may draw Mega Mewtwo X.

I may draw some musculature and skeletal studies of the form.

I may scan those when I'm finished.

I may also upload those and post them.

Anyone want to see anatomical studies? 8D
