"No problem." Asch nodded.

"Thank you." Sakura said before running to find Akai.

"Why does she have to run, her respiratory system isn't in top condition at the moment." Asch sighed. "Anyway to answer your question about Zeta she already did last night, and now she probably has to deal with PB."

Ephinasthesia sent Josei a murderous glare when Sakura ran off.

After the proposition of eating, she spoke.

"And perhaps you should take a look at yourself, J?"

"Me? Why?"

"I could give you a couple of reasons..." Said Ephy, her words were filled with venom. "One of them being that you seem to have a frail understanding of the feelings of women."

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me!"

"Ephinasthesia... please don't start a fight with Josei. Can you do that for me?"

Upon hearing that, Ephy's mood immediately changed.

"Fine. If you so desire, Kharaxel."

She turned her head away, and didn't even bother to look at Josei anymore.

Josei - "Yeah... I got her to calm down afterwards but that was right before her first body failed. Though last time she didn't sock me in the gut. I'm thinking something got to her while we were out and its just now starting to affect her seriously."

Josei - "Of course not... The first time I met her I was repulsed by her, I didn't want anything to do with her... which is what caused her to destroy that engine. Then when she came to she was mean and agitated... Then I finally got to talking to her and she was fine.... Then she died... because of me. I thought I wouldn't see her again, so when I did... I was overjoyed to see her, and she was the same cheerful girl that was there before she died. Now its like the same events are unfolding again, except this time its just... so sudden. If she doesn't want anything to do with me... then I can't really change her mind on that. I want her to be happy, I value her happiness over mine. Maybe I should just cut my losses and let her go, she doesn't need to be protected or anything... that's probably why she's so annoyed with me, because I'm overbearing on her because I don't want to lose her again... at least, I think that's the case. I want her to be happy, and if that means I'm single again, so be it."

Josei looked down. He obviously still held feelings for Akai, but despite his hearts wishes said he was okay with whatever she chooses to do.

"That might be for the best for now, like Sakura said just be there when she needs you." Asch recommended. "It could be the over protectiveness like you said. I admit I kinda feel the same way with Sakura, but right now she's sick and I want her to get better. She at least knows she can't fight now so I'm happy for that."

With that Ephy went silent. Her expression was grim, yet it wasn't anger. Kharaxel noticed it.

Josei then turned to Ephy.

The Rabid Mets had travelled through the night, and finally reached their destination. Although their numbers had decreased slightly, they were still raring to chew on the ankles of the Resistance. And they were not disappointed as they looked up at the towering Fxenodrome, and then looked back down on the citizens who temporarily halted to stare. The eyes of the Mets glinted, and launched themselves at the crowd, and the Fxenodrome.

The sound of screaming citizens woke Chariot as he had passed out near one of the abandoned buildings after outrunning most of the citizens that recognized him as the "mood-altering knight sent by the Resistance to further cause mayhem and anguish with his mere presence".

Running to the source, he finds a series of Rabid Mets ganging up on the confused, terrified citizens, each one gnawing at their ankles while many seemed fixed to blame it on the Resistance for not acting fast enough to stop them, and quickly notices that he crashed near the Fxenidome where they were being led to for safety and shelter, though the intention of the citizens who have yet to notice the fiasco in the back didn't come here to accept Vixy's offer to take shelter inside, but rather tear it to shreds as another one of their blind, manipulated ambitions to drive the Resistance further out of their city.

Chariot grits his teeth; his wants to help the citizens and beat back the Mets, but Hajime was still working on the Wily Star II, not to mention his flawed Tarot System would only lead the citizens below to attack him alongside the Mets regardless of whether they knew he was helping them or not. Reluctantly, he stays inside the abandoned building, wracking his brain for solutions that won't get him and the rest of his friends and companions in trouble.

As the Rabid Met army approached the Fxenodrome and the citizens, Vixy appeared to protect the crowd. While she handled the first wave, the Fxenodrome's automated outer defense systems came online and began firing at the army. Some were destroyed, but other's simply hid in their helmets to avoid destruction. The crowd began a mad panic away from the Mets.

"EVERYONE STAY CALM! MOVE BEHIND THE FXENODROME!" Vixy shouted out to the crowd. I can't use my Super Heart powers so close to civilians. It might do more harm than the Mets. she thought to herself as the people ran away.

"Vixy to ADA. Red Alert. Contact the others!" Vixy yelled out while using her Vampire Killer on the Rabid Met closest to the citizens.

"OH GOD. GET IT OFF MY LEG!!" random citizen Sidier screamed out in pain.

Meanwhile, back on SexStation 2069...

"RED ALERT. Rabid Met army attacking Fxenodrome. RED ALERT. Rabid Met army attacking Fxenodrome." ADA repeated over and over again.
