Starting with one of the cooler games.

A long time has passed in the Ghoul Kingdom after Firebrand's defeat at the
hands of Phalanx. After being imprisoned inside the Colosseum and being forced
to fight for his life time and time again, the red demon escapes to bring
vengeance upon the one who cast him down so long ago...Fire Power - This is
Firebrand's regular fire power. This is regular
Firebrand, the weakest of them all. He has the ability to use the
Fire Powers mentioned below.

Fire (ファイアー): Low damage, can light torches.
*
Buster (バスター): Medium damage, can destroy blocks. It has very fast fire rate, so this is essential to use early in the game.
*
Tornado (トルネード): Low damage, creates platforms in the shape of small tornados.
*
Claw (クロー): Medium damage, lets you climb spiked walls.
*
D.Fire (D.ファイアー): High damage, essential against strong enemies.
Blazon/Crest Power - These gives
Firebrand different abilities depending on what you equip.

G.Arremer (G.アリーマー): This lets you destroy objects by tackling them. It spits a shot that trails across the floor. Called
Ground Gargoyle in english versions.

A.Arremer (A.アリーマー): Lets you fly higher by pressing A and it cuts vines. Called
Aerial Gargoyle in english versions.
*
T.Arremer (T.アリーマー): The ability to swim underwater. Model Lx is a copycat for "stealing" this ability for Rockman ZX (>:3). Called
Tidal Gargoyle in english versions.
*
L.Arremer (L.アリーマー): It gives lots of damage to enemies and has double life meter. Also, it takes half damage. Called
Legendary Gargoyle in english versions.

U.Arremer (U.アリーマー): This has all abilities mentioned above. Called
Ultimate Gargoyle in english versions.
Talisman - These are auto-effect equipments that activates once you wear them.

Crown (クラウン): Higher chance of enemies/pots dropping GP/Zam (money).
*
Skull (スカル): Higher chance of enemies/pots dropping health.
*
Armor (アーマー): Damage taken is halved.
*
Fang (ファング): You deal more damage.
*
Hand (ハンド): Lets you shoot more fire on-screen.
Spells - You store these in the 5 Vellums (ベラム) you've collected in the game. Some of these aren't worth using much though.

Shadow (シャドー) - 10 Zam/GP: Increases defense.
*
Hold (ホールド) - 20 Zam/GP: Freezes enemies.
*
Imp (インプ) - 25 Zam/GP + 1 Zam/GP each second: Summons an imp to fight for him, for a fee.
*
Shock (ショック) - 50 Zam/GP: Cause earthquake.
*
Death (デス) - 80 Zam/GP: Summons Death. Clears the screen from enemies and damages bosses.
Potion - You store these in the 5 pots (ポット) you've collected in the game. Some of these are too expensive and aren't worth using much though.

Mercury (マーキュリー) - 6 Zam/GP: Teleports you back to the beginning of a level.
*
Sulfur (サルファー) - 10 Zam/GP: Teleports you to the world map.
*
Herb (ハーブ) - 25 Zam/GP: Restores five health.
*
Elixir (エリクサー) - 100 Zam/GP: Resurrects you with four health.
*
Mandrake (マンドレイク) - 140 Zam/GP: Restores you to full health. Called
Ginseng in english versions.
