The MS conference was bad not because it was exceptionally bad (in a case like that, entertainment would come from how terrible it is), but because it was a big mess of blah. Methinks new consoles really are needed and stat, interest is at an all time low in this stuff barring Nintendo and out of the blue Sony stuff from me and seemingly from the internet at large.

And yeah G4 really isn't where you want to be if you want good Nintendo coverage.

I'll say this as well.

The NFC scanner on the Wii U Game Pad might seriously be one of the greatest things ever. Toy companies can abuse the hell out of that thing and people will buy and collect for the potential content it offer. If it's utilized well, it could be a real cash cow.

I'm curious as to what "Rabbids Land" is, especially since the Rabbids Rumble that they announced for 3DS didn't look too appealing.

I love the Rabbids, but Ubi has clearly been handling them carelessly, so it's hard to expect much.

I disagree. Two E3s ago, in 2010, Nintendo crafted a wonderful explosion of awesomeness.

2011, not so much, but then that's what happens when you show new hardware with no killer app.

Pretty sure it'll be more minigames considering their latest videos are about amusement parks. Personally I'm interestend in Rumble, but I need to see footage of it.

I haven't played Skylanders, but the Pokemon part will be great! Think of the possibilities with it! Reminds me of the old Pokemon Stadium board game, an earlier version of Skylanders, where you collect Pokemon figurines and battle in the stadium to power them up and level and stuff. I only had a Charmander and a Geodude at the time.

Well, I'm looking forward to South Park... no bias or anything either. Also maybe Watchdogs... but I haven't liked UbiSoft's design philosophy for a long time now, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Obviously it wouldn't, but it's not like Ubisoft was obligated to give those features to the other consoles too were it multiplatform, it would be a "buy this game on Wii U if you want these features" thing. That's what I was expecting anyways.
