 Hmm, saw screenshots of the gameplay. This game could either be a very interesting cross-over RPG or go horribly wrong, much like the incredibly awkward Namco X Capcom. I feel awfully ambivalent to this; I do wish this could come to America (or at least Canada), though the inclusion of Japanese exclusive characters like that Valkyria Chronicles 3 dude - which by the way, WHERE IS MY ENGLISH VC3, SEGA!? - might restrict that possibility. Looking forward to how this game plays like though. |

Ryu and co. were to be expecte.. But an X4 scenario is a neat suprise (as to the looks of it). Also, the sword that cleaves evil will grace the game, which marks another game to feature SRW characters outside their usual enviroment.

They needed a new formula a long time ago. I honestly think Legends 3 would have accomplished that. They kept on remaking the same thing, with lower budgets, and now they're acting all confused because they stopped making a profit. |

Perhaps I should clarify, or I can be a tool and just mess with you.  Nah, I`ll clarify. The game itself - and by game I mean Namco X Capcom - handles well enough, but the battle scenes take an ridiculously long time to play out. Now if you excuse me, I`m going to fashion a shield out of combustible piece of metal to protect myself with. |

Having played 20-something chapters into Namco X Capcom, telling me that you don't like it is like telling me that you don't like Super Mario RPG.
Even if I disagree with you, it still has to make some level of sense before I can argue with you. And I...really don't see that happening. I appreciate your efforts, though.

What are you talking about? L3 has no baring on my feelings for this game at all. If anything, X and Zero in NxC sprite style is actually interesting. I simply don't like turn based (aka slow & boring) strategy games. These sprites could be put to much better use in a fighter, platformer, or a mixture of the two. Anything interesting at all, really. But I can't say I wasn't expecting this as the most likely outcome when it was announced. Simply, and completely, underwhelming. |

This is for the 3DS, right? Damn I wish the 3DS wasn't region-lock 'cause it looks like this game won't make it out of Japan unless they really think this game would do well outside of Japan. Besides didn't Namco release Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology that had characters from a Tales game that never made it to the US, such as Tales of Rebirth. It's possible that the game could be released outside of Japan... I really want it to. And those X and Zero sprites... awesome!  By the way is X's name written simply as "Rockman (Megaman)" in that article picture? |

I went to the Mega Man Network, read a few comments and some of them said "where's me legends 3 capcom?" and when a single was announced "Where's Roll Caskett on the picture?" and such. Not easy being a fan, is it? |

I can't say I blame such people, but I'm intelligent enough to realize that I'd love this had Legends 3 not been cancelled. So yeah. But expect me to rage severely if this is not localized (and yes, some corner of my brain knows that it's very likely that it won't). Also, yes, I WOULD still like to see Legends series rep. Not gonna lie. Hell, I'd like to see freaking Barrett and Aero. But SMRPG was well paced and fun, and NXC... not so much.
You just hate awesome things, don't you? Okay, seriously, if you don't like the genre, that's one thing. But for a strategy RPG, I found NxC's pace to be rather brisk. If you want to know a game that sucks hours out of your life to make about an inch of progress, pick up Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (which I love, by the way, I'm just saying it's REALLY FREAKING LONG). |
