I like how the Stage Select mugshots are MHX while the in-game boss design is clearly SNES.

They needed a new formula a long time ago. I honestly think Legends 3 would have accomplished that. They kept on remaking the same thing, with lower budgets, and now they're acting all confused because they stopped making a profit.

Isn't this a bad idea? I thought MM2's touch controls were universally hated, and there's no way this could be better at that :X

The graphics are reminiscent of a flash game.
I would like to believe that the Mugshots are placeholders as they look terribly out of place with the rest of the game.

somedays i wish i could just jump into an empty space. otherdays i feel like i should just sleep and finally, most of the time i just want to feel like i'm actually alive.
addendum: everything is a cycle no matter how much change one hopes to make it will always regress, and all change, along with all hope to change, is completely lost.

The backgrounds are just the originals upscaled with a crappy filter. Looks pretty lame to be honest.

No dash button. I see no dash button. That's not good.

Also known as: Flame...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Either you double-tap forward, or wait until a button shows up after you stepped inside the Boots capsule. Then again, X is fighting Icy Penguigo without the Boots activated.

Wait a second, I just noticed that. Hah, he bypassed the capsule? probably sos to not show off the armor yet? (then why not use another boss?)
Actually, a dash button popping up once you've gotten the boots makes sense.

How can I observe the gameplay when my fat thumbs will cover at least 1/3 of the screen?

This news doesn't seem very exciting. In fact, I feel a bit dissapointed.
But I guess this is good news for those Mega Man X fans with iphones/iPads. Plus some small Mega Man news in general.

It's not the first time Megaman games have had inconsistencies with boss sprites and mugshots... =w=; It's understandable the background couldn't get the same treatment as the sprites, and the filter looks fine to me. ^^; The sprites look very nice!

And to think I was trying to remain optimistic about it. Now all they need to do is blame its possible financial failure on the fans. ...I know it's highly unlikely, but seriously, this is one half of that scenario that I was assured wouldn't happen. And at a time like this? I'm starting to think I might've jinxed it.

Stages aren't on one continuous map anymore? It looks like an MSX game now. And wow at the Easy Mode. You take less damage, get more health back from pickups, and there are platforms over most pits. Not that MMX needed it; the game's pretty easy for a Mega Man game.
Yes, being able to buy all the upgrades is stupid. But if someone's that weaksauce at Mega Man X and they or their parents have the bucks to spare, that's their problem. However, if you are able to start any game with everything you've bought, that might be fun to play around with, like freeplay in Maverick Hunter X. Hadoken-ing the Bee Bladers is fun.
