Hello everyone.

This Mugen game is based, somehow, on Megaman Powered Up game.
I was trying to make something more unique than another MVC based game.

Thanks to that, we have:

- No block, as Megaman games
- Vertical animated and interactive lifebar
- Short jump and long jump
- No trip moves, no lieground states
- Short invencible time, depend on each move (you will start to blink when you are invencible)

On this beta, just 3 chars are avaliable: Bomb Man, Elec Man and Mega Man X. But much more to come.
Mugen 1.0 1280x720 only (you can play it at 640x360 by editing the mugen.cfg file).
NO WINMUGEN VERSION WILL BE RELEASED.

Plus, if there is anyone which wanna helps me with edits (for Megaman Powered Up or other project), just drops me a line
(I'm not a native english speaker as you may notice, but I can understand it well)

No. The most part were made by GregarLink10, other by Emiliano.
For sure, everyone is credited on the credits scene (when you finish the game). I credit everyone who helps me.

Hey man, long time no see!
Well, Megaman games which is owned by me is just this and the other one (Bit of Destiny, 8bits versus like MVC).

But I code Megaman chars for some other projects, like Yellow Devil for the RMM project: http://www.youtube.com/douglasbaldan#p/u/5/XVsx6cSBa7I

Its on hold because I focus on other projects for some time, but I'm still working on that project.

The SP is done and another spriter had finished something about 40 chars. I will return with that project on August.

Thank you!

About the project, I plan a new beta soon.

Some names would appear are: Iceman, Airman, Shadowman and some edited.

And, if everything goes well, a cameo guest :)

The rule to add chars its a bit "simple": No edit = no char.
To add a new char, I need the char edited, and I'm not a spriter.

My goal is to make classic and X eras (besides I'm not a big fan o X series), the others I don't like too much.
But this doesn't mean I never would add those chars.

The only char I won't add is T.Bonne, because I hate her :)

cool, the only thing i dislike about it is qsound beginning bit, because there are some songs that don't like qsound, are you going to make your own songs using qsound?, if not then maybe request some stuff to WizzyWhipitWonderful

QSound logo is just to bring more nostalgia feeling. Its not to be real.
Wizzy doesn't use QSound, he uses instruments (samples) from the original games. And I know him, he is my friend too.

All the music were made by other people, but I will start to make some custom tunes, since I'm musician.
This is a tune made by me, for my band: http://www.youtube.com/douglasbaldan#p/a/u/1/E7ZDfNIQxJ0

I have a question, guys:

I already have Timeman sheet and a friend of mine is editing Flashman.

It would be okay to have both at the same game? Time man can slow down the time and flash man can stop it.
To avoid to be cheap, its okay to make it as a hyper move?

Something like Dio Brando?
You might also incorporate it into normal moves. Have you seen him in Super adventure rockman? He used his timestop to make it look like he's teleporting around the place.
As for specials. You could use the basic "stop time and beat on the enemy until the effect wears of" or incorporate it in more interesting moves. For instance a move where he stops time and suddenly the screen is filled with bullets all aimed at the opponent.

Yes, but I don't want to make it cheap (but the move itself IS that cheap).

I will think more about this subject.

I know about the head, but is the size ok?

While I don't see a problem, definitely any sort of time manipulation should be left as a hyper move to avoid spamming.

That said, this is really, really cool. I can't wait to see more of it (and cross my fingers for Charge Man :P)

Time manipulation is hard to implement and balance. But as Blackhook suggested, Capcom handeled it well with Dio Brando. They key would be to properly link a character's super gauge (if there are any) to said power.

For Time Stop it could be
The fuller the gauge the longer the timestop lasts

For Slow Motion it could be
The fuller the gauge the more time gets slowed down
(i.e.: gauge at 50% = 50% speed reduction)

this is the roster untilnow:

Confirmed chars:

NOT CONFIRMED

I will add more info soon.

I'm working on this project to make small releases, adding 3 or 4 chars per release, so I can work on the project and it don't takes too long. Because if I wait to have many chars to release the game, when we will release and find any bugs, we will have too much work to do.

Doc Robot! <3
Magma Dragoon! <3

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations
