SF's biggest prblem with being a sequel series to BN, (like X is to Classic,) is that it does too little to actually support that. I mean, Classic to X is still the same technology, robots, abeit more advanced, and the main characters have their very roots in the previous series. theres always something to connect with the past.
however, here, we go right from advanced internet, to radio waves above peoples heads. the change is so big, and all the series does to connect with BN, is Megaman EXE crossover bonuses, where you find Lan's journal and then meet Megaman. i dunno. I just guess they could do a better job there. It just never really "felt" like it connected.

What exactly was in Lan's journal? And I agree with this a lot, you can hardly tell that BN was in the past and the fact that they went to 200 years instead of just 100 is kind of a big jump to me. |

Pretty much post-EXE6 stuff. Dex becoming Mayor and surprising Lan, Lan discovering that friendship can boost the power of programs as evidenced by his battles with Hub, and other cheesy stuff to connect the two.

Although Kirby IS a Lovecraftian beast who subjugates smaller nonharmful races to its enormous appetite and brings angryfaced monarchs back into their thrones, so he's probably got something there.

Lan's son was called Patch wasn't he? Or Saito in Japanese. Rockman / Megaman and Roll has a sorta' baby Navi combination thing called Rockman / Megaman Jr. |

ALL OF MY RAGE! ... Nah, just kidding. Still... EXE 4 is a pretty bad game. I, when it comes to the EXE series, started with EXE 3 (though I DID played EXE 4 first, but ended up hating it). Then I played EXE 2 and stuffs... and. Oh yeah... I would so like for a new EXE game to come out on 3DS. : D Shame it's never gonna happen after OSS failed (and rightfully so). |

Agreed. RnR has three games to it's name, while ZX only has two. I don't see either of them getting another game, sadly. |

What? Blue Moon is the version with Proto Soul. That gives the game some points (Though its hilarious in the 1st 2 playthroughs where Protoman loses to some random NormalNavi. It makes you go "what".) |
