Topic: RPM POKEMON ADVENTURE THING

[Quickman]

Domino shook her head. "I think you misunderstood me.  We can't clone Mewtwo using its DNA.  You know what they say when you make a copy of a copy... it doesn't turn out quite as sharp."  She paused for a moment. "I'm talking about this Shadow Pokemon business.  Giovanni has been in talks with Cipher, and I think he's making a big mistake, but hell if he'll listen to me.  I mean, fine, go ahead with this plan.  But, I really don't feel comfortable with it..."

She stood, walked away for a moment to stare at the wall.  Her shoulders slumped as she sighed, then she turned around and approached Meowth again.  "I'm just going to come right out and say it.  I think turning Mewtwo into a Shadow Pokemon is a really bad idea.  While I'm not about to lose my job, I think we should at the very least delay the inevitable.  Will you help me do that?  If we win the trial, Giovanni can do whatever he wants.  But, if we tamper with Mewtwo now... we may screw not only our chances... but everything."

Her eyes narrowed. "I don't think anyone would survive when Mewtwo unleashes its full power, in an absolute blind rage.  I don't know about you, but I like living."

[White-Jet]

"When you say it like that, I can't help but agree," Meowth almost yelps, "I just hope we can at least get Jessie and James involved.  As much as they hate Mewtwo for the way he treated them the second time we bumped into them, they still respect him as a mutual Pokemon just trying to protect his creations."

As if on cue, there was a thud just outside the office.  The illuminating lights revealed an unconscious James, still in officer uniform laying flat on his face with Yamask hovering over him, hovering Tarot Skitty over to its curled paws.

It seemed to have brought James here after hearing enough reports of Mewtwo being transferred here and figured dropping him off here would allow him to recover just enough to formulate a more fitting plan to get Mewtwo back into Team Rocket's hands.


The officers eventually arrive at the medical ward in the station and prepare Jenny's bed.  Hierophant stands near the door, watching as one of the doctors walked over and examined her.

"Ah....  Another victim of the dreaded Stun Spore...." he sighs while using a brush to dust off some of the lingering pollen that remained on her chest, "Not to worry, not to worry, we'll just get  our Growlithe to wake her up with Helping Hand.

He then places Growlithe on the stool next to her, allowing it to place its paw in her forehead and unleash a glowing outline from its body down to hers.

[Dr. Wily II]

Officer Jenny slowly opened her eyes, though her vision was still pretty clouded. She tried to move herself, but pins and needles spread throughout her body, unable to even sit up. Struggling with her mouth for a moment, she murmured.

"W-What h-h-happened...?"

[White-Jet]

"Take it easy now," the doctor said, holding a glass of boiled Salveyo weed, "You were hit by that nasty Stun Spore that was spreading around most of the station.  Just drink this and you'll be all better."

"I can't imagine Stun Spore knocking her out like that," one of the officers said, "I only saw her laying there after the pollen was filtered out.  Could she have been hit by the full blast?"

Hierophat compresses his lips, contemplating telling them that Yamask had used one of the cards to slam her against a wall in a vain attempt to protect James.  The other officer soon notices him and walks over.

"Excuse me, young man," he said, "Shouldn't you be back in the interrogation room?"

Hierophant stands straight, looking between the officer and Yan-Yan clutched in his left hand, wondering if now was a good time to share part of Mewtwo's accusations.

[Dr. Wily II]

"I was w-what?" Officer Jenny slowly sat up with the help of the doctor and the Growlithe, and took a sip from the glass. Shivering a little as the mixture started to work, she continued.

"Last I remember... Was e-exiting Mewtwo's interrogation r-room... And then... It was a b-blur..." She paused for a bit before dropping her head, laughing in a low tone. "I-It was Mewtwo... Wasn't it... I-It... Knocked me out... A-And left me to breathe in the S-Stun Spore... I knew i-it... A... M-Menace... Heheheh-hee..."

[White-Jet]

"Er...sorry to tell you this, ma'am," the officer mutters, "But according to the guards, they tazed him seconds after you left.  There was no way he could clear his mind long enough to get in one last psychic lick."

Hierophant cringes before looking to the second officer, "Can we talk about this outside...I'm worried she might go insane and hurt Yan-Yan before we have a chance to prove he was corralled into this."

The second officer nods before slinking out of the room to let his buddy and the doctor try to calm her down.

[Dr. Wily II]

"A-A-A ruse... All a r-r-ruse... Heheh... You think you have w-won... I'll still g-get the last laugh..." Officer Jenny laughed again, but it was clear that she was mentally stressed out, and maybe even a bit... Deranged.

[White-Jet]

The doctor and officer cringe nervously as they look towards each other before the doctor looks back towards Jenny.

"Perhaps you should take the rest of the day off, let your sister and cousin take care of the case," he said as calmly and serenely as he could express.

[Dr. Wily II]

"N-No... That's what i-it wants... I'll not let i-it get its way with m-m-me..." Officer Jenny took another sip of the mixture, and tried to get off the bed. However, as soon as she strained herself, she let out a breathless GAH, and slumped back into the bed.

[White-Jet]

The remaining officer whispers to the doctor's ear, "Maybe we should have let her sleep a while longer...."

"Better to wake her up now than let nature schedule a call," the doctor mutters back before attempting to speak to Jenny again, "Just rest easy and sip your cure.  We'll have your sister take you home when she's done speaking to the...witnesses of the incident."

Hierophant sticks his head back into the room after speaking to the other officer, watching as he heads over to the first and whispers in his ear.

"We may have lost that albino Skitty," he mutters, "But this boy says that only one of the cards was used.  We'll have to believe him for the time being until we can figure out where that Yamask took the fake officer and the rest of the cards."

The first nods, "Take that card to the other Jenny.  She might have a better idea of how to keep it out of unjust hands until we can properly examine and test its capabilities."

The second nods and heads out of the room, leaving Hierophant to watch the fiasco continue while pondering getting involved.

[Dr. Wily II]

Officer Jenny tsk'd under her breath, as she took another sip of the mixture. "I can't rest easy with that... Menace loose in this station... I want to be updated on the dot!" Officer Jenny tried to pump her fist into the air, only to GAH at the still lingering pins and needles.

[White-Jet]

The two snap straight and salute, "Yes ma'am!"

They then pull the doctor far out of Jenny's earshot.

"Whatever you do, do NOT let her hear anything concerning Mewtwo until her sister gets here," the first whispers in one side of the doctor's ear.

"Better to let family deal with family than sticking our tongue into the situation," the second whispers in the other doctor's ear while nodding respectfully.

Hierophant looked between both sides before feeling something nudge his shin.  Looking down, he finds Genbu bumping his nose against his leg, seeming somewhat restless.

"Genbu...." he mutters before he crouches down and picks him up, "Did Excalibur open the door while I was gone?  You're going to get me into more trouble...."

[Dr. Wily II]

As Officer Jenny slid back into her bed, her mind just coudn't stop thinking about Mewtwo. It was all that freak's fault... Everything was it's fault...

Dr. Wily II got up from his seat, and peeked out through the window again. The cloud of Stun Spores seemed to have dissipated, and there was some commotion outside. Since no one has entered the room, he decided to step out for some fresh air... Even if there were some lingering Spores. He stepped out of the interrogation room, and stole a look to the end of the corridor, noticing that Officer Jenny was no longer there. Looking towards the other direction, he noticed Hierophant, crouching down and speaking to his mini-Torterra. Finally seeing someone familiar, Dr. Wily II slowly walked towards him.

"Been chaotic around here, hasn't it."

[White-Jet]

"Sure has...." Hierophant said as he looks back into the medical room at Jenny mumbling vengeance to herself and the two officers still whispering in the doctor's ear concerning him and the cards.

[Dr. Wily II]

"Who's in there?" Dr. Wily II asked, trying to steal a peek inside, albeit failing.

[White-Jet]

"The...less tolerable Jenny," Hierophant mutters, "Along with two more officers and the doctor in charge of this particular room.  I have a feeling they're just as eager to turn the case over to her more considerable relatives."

[Dr. Wily II]

"... Her... Huh." Dr. Wily II said, albeit softly. "They should have left her in a coma... AHEM, I mean, I hope she is doing... Fine now."

[White-Jet]

Hierophant snapped his head towards WilyII, thinking he felt something, but by then he had regained his docility.  Perhaps Merrick was somewhere on him, trying to keep control of his good conscience at least until after Mewtwo is freed from Team Rocket's custody.

"Right...." he mutters, "We should get back to our rooms before that Jenny sees us and thinks we're part of some conspiracy to mess up Mewtwo's case."

[Dr. Wily II]

"I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't think so already. But I guess you're right. Mewtwo needs all the help he can get." With that, Dr. Wily II bowed, and walked back towards his assigned interrogation room.

[White-Jet]

Hierophant watched him leave, took one last look into the medical room, then heads back to his own assigned interrogation room to wait until the officers summoned him to help examine and test out Yan-Yan's programmed abilities.

Back at the Pokemon Institute...

Domino stepped out of her office for a moment to let Joe inside when she noticed James sprawled out on the floor.  "Nice of you to drop in."  She looked to Joe.  "Give me a hand here," she took James's arms and nodded for Joe to grab his legs so that they could get him into the office and out of the hall.

[Dr. Wily II]

Joe's eyes widened even more seeing James in the flesh, and hurried over to help Domino by grabbing both of James' legs. More autographs!

(Actually, I meant to say outside the Institute near Domino's office, but I guess this makes better sense, given how many people are actually wandering the hallway during work )

Yamask lingers in after them, staring at the cards on Tarot Skitty's back to see if he should stick the Chariot card back on James.

Seeing James be carried in made Meowth even more worried, wondering where Jessie could be at a moment like this.
