Sapph simply listened to everything that was being said. "For the record, your punching me in the face was to reboot me from a blue screen of death. I'd be an ass hat if I got you charged with assault for that." He said, chewing on a piece of jerky. "And money is that stuff that you give people to pay for things like food and clothing."

Rush, meanwhile, was eating, what looked like, cookies. Though, a sniff from a keen nose would reveal these cookies to be home-made 'growlithe treats'.

"I still do not understand why one needs to pay for food," Mewtwo shook his head. "Food is essential for life. Same as water. Yet, you are forced to pay for it." He stood and wandered over to a puddle, where he got down on all fours and drank from it.

"I have bottled water, you know," Quickie watched him.

"It's kinda because there seems to be a limited supply of food and money is a way of controlling it so it doesn't run out." Sakura explained "Though honestly if you look hard enough you can find food anywhere, but people would much rather pay someone to make it for them than hunt it themselves."

"Humans have become complacent with their luxury that they would rather pay for essential items," Mewtwo finished drinking from the puddle, stood, wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, and returned to his digging through the backpack until he decided on something to eat, which was a can of Persian food.

Quickie put her food aside and stood, gathering the wood they had collected earlier into a pyramidal pile. She then stuffed dry leaves, grass, and paper into the pyramid. Taking a moment to dig through her bag, she retrieved a lighter, lit a handful of dry material, and used it to catch the rest of the kindling in the fire. After a few moments, the wood was set ablaze, and Quickie stoked it to keep it going, before heaving a log into the flames. "There. Granted, it would have been easier just to fire blast that, but whatever. I'm old school."
