Wily approached Sapph. "Do you... do you think there's a reason that Obsidian took Blaine...? With what I've heard so far... it seems logical... Blaine simply... vanished. Then, Obsidian announces his return. His agents knew of the Mewtwo Project, they've obviously been to Cinnabar... it's--it's all connected! It must be!" He took off his glasses and cleaned them with his shirt before putting them back on. "I know, this must all sound crazy to you... the delusional ramblings of an old man... But--but... I just--I just have this feeling that this is all connected somehow... There is more to this than meets the eye..." He trailed off and looked to Mewtwo, who was getting to his feet. "Have you found anything?"

"Just what I had seen before," Mewtwo shook his head. "The trace was erratic... though I was able to follow it to Fuchsia. However," he looked to Wily, "the caves... and Cinnabar. I could not discern a proper sequence of events, but the trace led there as well."

"I see," Wily hung his head. The pieces were falling into place. He could no longer deny it. He was certain that Blaine's disappearance was due to Obsidian.

"But, why would Obsidian want Blaine?" Quickie spoke up. "I mean, aside from the obvious. Unless..." She looked to Sapph. "Could Obsidian have his own plans to create some unholy genetic terror?" She looked to Mewtwo. "No offense."

Mewtwo tossed the discarded armor aside. "None taken."

"Whichever would be next on our trip, I guess," Quickie shrugged her backpack on her shoulders. She looked to Mewtwo. "Could you perhaps cover our tracks?"

Mewtwo nodded. "I would suggest that you crouch down and cover your heads. There may be some... collateral damage from debris." He waited until the clearing was either vacated or everyone ducked, and he spread his arms wide. His eyes flashed blue and a whirlwind swirled at his feet before engulfing the entire clearing. Within a few moments, the wind dissapated, and any trace that they had settled there was gone. "Satisfactory?"

Wily rubbed his eyes as he gazed about in awe. "Your powers have grown so much... Blaine would be proud of you."

(Awesome, seriously awesome. But I have this sneaking suspicions that Obsidian and Blaine... Might have become one and the same... D:)

(Given the way Obsidian's grunts were either Ghost-types, or lobo'd, it's not too Farfetch'd to think that Blaine has been possessed by a certain vengeful spirit... Also, Ehh... I still have a bit more admin stuff to sort out, mind helping me for this last day too?)

(I have something else in mind for Obsidian. Actually, I already revealed it during the mental conversation with mewtwo.

As for Blaine, he's probably got his body hooked to life support with his mind stuffed into a computer... That's kinda morbid, now that I think about it...)

Sapph could only furrow his brow in thought. "At this point, anything being connected to Obsidian seems logical..." He said, cracking his neck and getting back up. "But, either way, we should get going. Some of Fuchsia's residents might know something, since I'm certain that Koga and Janine aren't the only ninjas there." He said, returning Kaiser and Hero.

(You got to wonder why they do not ask Pyro to find a closet to take them there though chances are they would run into an upset Palkia and/or Dialga.)

(Easy solution to the problem of drawing attention: Sapph's zoroark. Zoroarks are best known for their illusion ability.)

(So, this also gives us a choice. We could walk there, possibly face whatever obstacles and random encounters on the way, or fly there while disguised in an illusion. And even with walking, if the trip is uneventful, we can very easily time skip right to Fuchsia. Up to you guys what you want to happen.)

Mewtwo hesitated at the mention of the Safari Zone. "They do not have... restrictions on free Pokemon, do they?"

Quickie shrugged. "Like they need to be in a PokeBall or something? Not that I can recall. Been a while since I've been through there, though."

Sapph paused a moment before pulling out a rather recent pamphlet for the Safari Zone that he had gotten from the hotel. "Lessee... All it says regarding pokemon is no using them to fight the residents."

"Good idea," Quickie agreed. "Though, you've certainly been a lot braver about being out in the open. Getting used to it?"

"Somewhat," Mewtwo shrugged. "Aside from some stares, no one has really called much attention to me."
