I think I'll pass on Pilotwings SNES.

But hit me up when Pilotwings 64 hits, maybe, and where in the world is Sparkster?

Rumble is simplistic but at the same time I like the fact that they're trying something new with the franchise.  Works a hell of a lot better than Mystery Dungeon IMHO, and for the lower price it's well worth it.  Plus it restores Mewtwo to an honorable position.  So yeah, I'll be picking that one up.  And you can thank the demo for solidifying my choice.  It is only a matter of time before countless masses of cannon-fodder face my DRAGONITE POWER!!! Green

Of course, the World of Goo demo only furthered my bewilderment as to why that game is so highly rated.  I mean, it's good, but it's not game-of-the-year-over-Brawl good (screw you, IGN).  It's building in triangles, plus somebody was ingenious enough to program weight/balance physics, and wrap it up in a charming visual presentation.  Which is swell.  It's great.  But it's not THAT great.  WoG strikes me as more impact, that is proof-of-concepting the idea that a solid low-budget widely available commercial game can still work in today's word, than actual gameplay.  I think it's wonderful that it showcased such potential, mind you.  But I do not think that makes WoG the best game of last year, or even the best WiiWare game.  And for all the ranting and raving, you'd think they could have contrasted the "preview" lines a bit more so that they'd be easier to see.

Maybe it's just the fact that I'm not a hardcore puzzler.  I mean, I enjoy Tetris, Dr. Mario, and Puyo Puyo, but I'm generally not *AS* excited over them as the rest of the world seems to be.

Pilotwings (SNES) carries a lot of memories for me, and that bonus stage theme is bizarre and strangely charming.  So yeah, I'll be picking that one up.

The only one I'll probably get is the Super Mario Kart, because my copy was stolen along with my Mega Man Soccer long ago.
Oh man, does that blow.

Super Mario Kart...  Strange as it sounds I'm a little torn with that one.  Wonderful as it is, Super Circuit carries all of the old courses.  There is something to be said for the original original, just don't know if I feel like coughing up the extra eight bucks for it; not when 64, Double Dash, and Wii are all grabbing for my time already.

They needed a new formula a long time ago.  I honestly think Legends 3 would have accomplished that.  They kept on remaking the same thing, with lower budgets, and now they're acting all confused because they stopped making a profit.

Yep. 500th VC title, sensibly priced at $10.

It's worth picking up if you don't have the cart, plus to have when friends are over and feel like going back to the beginning, before all the bells and whistles Melee and Brawl dragged in.

I got UNO for DSiWare and SSB for the Wii VC.

In this game, everybody is actually deadly! There are some characters better than others, but each character has a fighting chance! Falcon, Mario, and Luigi are actually good in this game because UpAir wasn't nerfed yet. I only wish Brawl (and to some extent Melee) kept it simple like this, but still have features like Evade and the C-to-Smash Attack shortcut. And I am SO looking forward to THE WARP PIPES!!!

I'm kicking the most tail with Yoshi, or I was there for a while, setting up all sorts of combos. Love UpA Attack: Fling 'em into the air with your nose, then SLAM them with UpA Smash. Most characters have an "over-your-head" launcher setup like this, but Yoshi's is fluid.

And definitely grab UNO, it's online ready, too. The Mic is sensitive enough if you wanted to shout UNO!, or you can activate it with inputs. All. Sorts. Of. Rule. Settings. So if you like playing a specific way, it's here, more than likely.

Regarding SSB64, Falcon's Up Air could be used for so many brilliant plays. My personal favorite was flip kicking people on land and making them fly horizontally. No one ever expects that move to be used like that. Laughing

F*@#! yeah!  Metal Mario stage, Yoshi's insta-multi-kick, and Luigi's un-nerfed Fire Jump Punch FTW!

And SNES Pilotwings, there's one that brings back memories.  I'll have to nab that one too.

I've got a spare 800 points.  I could pick up a DKC game, but I think I'd rather just wait it out and put them towards MM10 and/or Phoenix Wright.

As expected, added Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney to my list.

Nintendo could learn a thing or two from Capcom when it comes to letting others watch and enjoy DS gameplay.  Namely, GET IN ON THE FRIKKIN' TV SCREEN.

I sure am feeling the filespace squeeze right now, too.  I wish Nintendo would run stuff directly off of the SD card rather than a temp-download to system memory, it means you have to keep a sizable chunk of empty space on the console.

Better yet, screw the SD card and make a USB device with better transfer speeds.  I know "hard drive" sounds like a bandwagon, but honestly, have you tried running Sin & Punishment off of an SD card?  Once upon a time, Nintendo used to hold that load times that long were unacceptable.

Well, I finally caved and downloaded the original Super Mario Kart.

I forgot how much longer the Cups were in that one; both more courses and more laps.  Also awesome how you didn't have to be that far behind to get a Star.  And man, CHARACTER THEMES, what happened to those?

It's been way, way too long.
