So, E3 was more than I expected. I'm impressed with Nintendo this year, which is saying something. With PB, still waiting for ZOE3... fuckers.

Also, in regards to Flash. I don't feel offended by Ben's disdain towards E3 Nintendo and so forth. I respect Ben's opinion. I loved what I saw so far and want to see more.

My big [tornado fang] yeahs so far are Kid Icarus... even if I'm pissed about the 3DS so far. Also, still lulzing over the fact my kitty kept telling me there would be Kid Icarus and I didn't believe her. Sorcery, yes plz. Looks interesting, love the concept. Too bad Sony is still a bit batshit insane with their prices. I'll come back later, corporate asshats

My main point in all of this is that it's like having a guy next to you at a concert shouting angrily at the band because they haven't played songs he likes. Why not enjoy the damn thing, and if you wanna criticize, do it constructively instead of "because they didn't show what I liked"?


All in all, I found myself loving this Nintendo conference far more than any other before, and I am pleasantly surprised by it all. Specially because we'll finally have a TON of core games being made for the Wii, to come out regularly instead of at the drop-by-drop pace we've had so far. The first title should be the new Metroid, right?

BTW have you seen the capabilities of the 3DS? Snake Eater looks easily just as good as its PS2 counterpart. At some point even better.

The scary part is that they whipped up that demo in 2 months. With only 2 months worth of dev time, the matched/slightly exceeded what it took them 4 or 5 years of PS2 developing to create. The 3DS is beastly, imagine what'll happen when folks start pushing it harder?

It's meant to be popped off if it's inconvenient (like making the console too tall). Do you still have the flap? See if you can't just slot it right back in...
