I totally LOVE that one. I agree with you. Has amuch better ring. Sounds like a cross between PSX and SNES music.

The proper Christopher Walken response should've been. "This last one...(dramatic CW pause)...was even better than the first!"

Seriously though, these are both pretty fan-[tornado fang]ing-tastic. I love the first one's opening a whole lot, and I agree with the Cave/Mine/Underground consensus on the level. The second one, for me, might go well with a fast paced moving level, like maybe on top of a train/plane. Perhaps even a forest-y type level.

Yeah not his best, but better than using the Dr. Light song.

Yeah, I agree. The MIDI sounds bring it down a tad, but it's still better than X3 Dr. Light!

However, I very much like the JunkYard one. I hope he makes that one loop like the others.

It's already made for looping, he just didn't double it because I just need one time and loop it in game.

He dropped into that drawer where Capcom throws their characters in after theyve outlived their usefullness.
I remember Plague from... ummm... forgot the comic name, had this little thing where Cain is killed while their backs are turned by double, who turns back into his fat self when they turn around.. hmmm... havnt been able to locate that comic anymore though.

Junkyard is good also, but I'm getting worried he'll make each song in the same manner, with that one guitar as the main instrument and everything playing second fiddle.

Looks like I'll be able to add another armor in the game.
Water based armor, and yes you will be able mix pieces with the phoenix armor like in X8.

Here is the base design.

also, got any ideas as to its abilities yet? maybe a swim ala Model L/Lx? or some kind of underwater dash? AH! ive got it, as long as theres energy in the "dash" bar, X can air dash as many times as he wants while under water.

I had a character named Nereid once. That's why I would've used that first. Plus it sounds cool.

Would "Leviathan" be too simple? honestly i think it would go nicely.

otherwise, maybe "kraken"
or even "Kappa"

how would that work? I mean, what If you want to sink to the bottom? it should have some kind of underwater ability as well IMO.
