Ah, I see, so it's meant to make things more difficult. I guess that's explains it, but now the question is, is it worth it to actually charge up the busters? It seems like in a lot of Mega Man X games, it was better to just dash and then shoot since it dealt the same amount of damage. Are you going to go by a similar system like the Zero games where the buster deals a significant amount more damage per charge level?
And what do you mean by Strider Armor? ?.?
I'm trying to code the game as close as possible to the original, but that doens't mean I will add it's exploits and glitchs also =p.
With Buster lvl1 the damage is 1(regular shot), 3, 5, 7, ?(no real way to calculate the damage for the last charge).
with that in mind here are a few reasons why the charged shots are worth it.
1. The damage will go up by percentage so the regular shot will be very weak compared to charged shots.
2. Charged shots has piercing ability, that means if an enemy with 3 health shot with lvl 3 charge will die and the buster will keep going with the extra 2 damage.
3. The charged shots are bigger, makking it easier to hit enemies.
4. Skill points can be used to upgrade damage and reduce the charge time.
5. I don't know about you, but I have to be holding a button while playing =p.
Strider Armor is just a prototype name, not even started.
Oh my god that thing took out a cannon driver with one [tornado fang]ing charge shot.
awesome.
also, so Cain has kicked the bucket huh.
damn maverick floor cleaners! 2 cookies whoever recognizes the quote.
also, im no good spriter, but id be interesed in making some artwork of that Phoenix armor...
Why would you think that Dr. Cain is dead? I'm sure people can easily record holograms at that time.
Feel free to do any art work from the game, just don't expect that I'll be adding them in it (haven't decided if I'll add any artwork).
STRIDER? You mean Strider Hiryu? Because that would be awesome beyond words. I will draw that.
Sorry Acid, but not that Strider.
