Well, while the second one featured a real online. (PSN account needed)
You have to buy the real copy to get the license code that need to be register.
I also heard from someone that using CFW to play the online mode will result in a banhammer. Even you bought a legit copy.
I don't confirm this but I wouldn't want to try that by myself.

Plenty of battle mode runs today.
My battle rank moved from D to C.

Finished Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story today. And I gotta say, best Mario ending ever. Bowser finally gets his [spoiler]cake. But he's still a tough guy to the end, not left standing bewildered as peace returns to the world or anything.[/spoiler]

I gotta say, Alphadream really "gets" Bowser. Which is something I never thought I would say referring to a game that uses a distorted voice for him and not the artificial SFX I ordinarily crave (I still resent Galaxy and NSMBWii for that), but it's true.

That sounds harder than simply giving your friend code to others, but the thing I like about the portable and universe series is the adjustment of height and muscularity, or rack for female characters....<.<

Not really complicate.
It's like you buy a box of PC games. You found a code in the box.
Login to your PSN account (from your PS3, PSP or PC via Media GO software).
Input your code there and you can login to the online mode with your PSN account.
Easy than it sounds

One thing I like about online mode is; when you create a new character, your friend will still see your online status even he/she never meet your new char before.
But you have to meet each other and exchanged partner card at least once.
To say, the partner card tied to your account not character. So, it's easier to keep track of your friend.
Also, the game use common box now. So, items in the box can be shared to your other characters in the same account.

My character is level 1

I played a lot of Battle mode and Challange mode. Due to no level restriction.
And don't worry, everyone start at the same lowest level and so-so equipments to make it fair and square.

This game looks great, though I have to ask one thing,the UMD also works on a American PSP, correct? And do you need a Japanese PSN account to go online? Dang I'm already late for the special edition ah well, if this takes too much japanese diolouge then I'll wait for an english or spanish release, whichever comes sooner.
